Warwick Katana 8-String

For Scott Reeder (Fireball Ministry / Kyuss), a dream came true with this Custom Shop Masterbuilt Katana Bass. Scott wanted an 8-string bass with four normal and four octave strings for a new project. Scott is absolutely happy with this exceptional and stunning instrument! The Chrome-Tone Finish – available in different colors – is one of the most complex finishes that we make in our Framus & Warwick Custom Shop in Markneukirchen/Germany. Scott Reeder is left-hander, but he plays his instruments "upside down", with stringing for right-handed players. We also integrated a metal plate at the end of the fingerboard of the Warwick Masterbuilt Scott Reeder Katana 8-String Bass, to protect the wood against Scott’s heavy playing style. The "bull skull"-inlay meanwhile is a trademark. Since Scott owns a farm in a desert area, he likes such motives very much. Pickups, hardware and electronics of this bass guitar correspond to the very high standard of the Warwick Custom Shop.
