Sortie en 1971, la Musicmaster Bass est une alternative plus économique à la Mustang. Avec son diapason shortscale de 30 pouces elle est appréciée des guitaristes et des petites mains. Le manche en érable se dote d’une touche en palissandre au radius de 7,25 pouces. Celle-ci a bien bourlingué : les boutons de potentiomètre ont été remplacés, tout comme le chevalet par un Badass, le pickguard est cassé et on relèvera également une retouche de peinture sur la table. Au début de sa carrière en 1963, la T-bird, basse rock par excellence, a un corps dit « reverse » mais à partir de 1965, celui-ci devient « non reverse ». Ici nous n'avons pas affaire à un modèle classique mais à une rare signature Nikki Sixx du groupe Mötley Crüe ! Elle a bien sûr droit au manche traversant, avec un magnifique érable flammé le prenant en sandwich sur le corps.
