    Dunlop Uni-Vibe Stereo ChorusPublié le 22/08/09 à 04:18

The Dunlop Uni-Vibe Stereo Chorus is an effects pedal designed for use with electric guitar but suitable for use with any electronic instrument.  It has a 1/4 inch input and two 1/4 inch outputs for if you want to use this as a true stereo pedal.  It isn't rack mountable as it is a stomp box.

    UTILIZATION

The make up of the Dunlop Uni-Vibe Stereo Chorus isn't hard to follow as it is quite basic in its configuration.  The pedal has knobs for mix, speed and intensity.  The mix knob has labeling for either wide or mono for if you are using this as a stereo pedal.  There isn't too much more to say about the configuration of this pedal as it really couldn't be any easier to use and for this reason a manual isn't needed.

    SOUND QUALITY

The sound quality heard front the Dunlop Uni-Vibe Stereo Chorus is pretty awesome.  It is a unique sounding chorus effect because even though you can get a typical sounding chorus effect, you can also get a more Leslie like tone that isn't necessarily possible with most chorus pedals.  I use the pedal with either a Fender Strat or a Gibson SG and a '76 Fender Twin Reverb and I'm always happy with this combination of gear for recording.  The pedal is great for both recording sessions or live shows.

    OVERALL OPINION

I've used the Dunlop Uni-Vibe Stereo Chorus on and off for a few years for recording sessions as I've found it to be a great sounding chorus pedal for recording.  The tone is warm and since it is a Dunlop product you know that you are getting a quality piece of gear.  The pice isn't all that hefty for a pedal of this type and is one that is a good bang for your buck in my opinion.  All in all, this is a really cool pedal that is easy to use and sounds great.
