SOUNDS
Sound quality is untouchable for under $1000. They blow the Genelec monitors away.
OVERALL OPINION
Plug n play- simple as that.
Perfect for small to mid-sized project studios.
$800 bucks is alot to spend on home studio monitors- so Event gives ya a 3 year warranty on these guys. Very pleased with the monitors and Event tech and sales staff.

Superb! strictly for monitoring though. Make sure you also have a consumer-grade hi-fi system in the studio for your non-monitoring needs.
OVERALL OPINION
Plug and go
Very good quality. But I had one problem: the day i bought the pair, I tweaked some of the back-controls and two of them bent and got stuck inside the box I had to open it and bend the control back.... They should put physical knobs there, not just electronic components that are open to the outside.

They sound great across a range of relevant frequencies tho and can handle a lot of energy, which was the reason I got them.

SOUNDS
I like the sound they give. It's a fairly accurate representation of what I get out of the mixer with headphones, just a lot bigger. Flaws are definitely exposed with these monitors. There's always a better model out there somewhere, but I like what I'm hearing from these Events.
OVERALL OPINION
Simple to hook up with appropriate wires.
Construction is adequate. I don't move them often because they are heavy.
Compared to an amp and the 10" Bose speakers, I love the Events.

son clair et precis, bonne dynamique. pas fatiguantes à l'utilisation
Ce que je lui reproche c'est de ne pas etre extremement definies dans les basses et d'etre un peu flatteuses dans l'ensemble.. c d'ailleurs le cas pour la plupart des enceintes de cette catégorie. du coup pour du mastering c'est pas l'ideal.. mais pour la composition & l'enregistrement ca suffit amplement.

Elles sont lourdes - c generalement bon signe, et tres peu sujettes aux resonances parasites.
je suis passé sur Dynaudio M1.5, c remarquable, mais c pas le meme prix non plus !
Globalement c vraiment un tres bon produit, et meme si mes oreilles sont devenues plus critiques, c'est un excellent outil de travail, surtout en terme de rapport Q/P.Lire moins10
