Micro statique destiné au chant et autres...
Condensateur.
3 position (omni, 8, et cardio), pad -20 db, filtre, et alim (on/off)
La suspenssion d'origine n'est trés bien
Mais la suplémentaire est génial (aucuns contacts)
Livré en malette.

Ca fait un peu plus de 6 mois que je l'utilise et c'est une merveille. Il capte tout ce qu'il faut et les enregistrement s'intègresnt tout seul dans les mix.
En se servant du pad, on à une reserve de gain qui est surprenante.
J'ai essayer pas mal de modele (t bone sc450, rode nt2, samson c01) mais il est largement supérieur en tout point.
Je l'ai comparé avec un akg 414 et ces deux micros sont assé opposé, l'akg est un peu agressif, alors...…

Je l'ai comparé avec un akg 414 et ces deux micros sont assé opposé, l'akg est un peu agressif, alors que le cad est doux et chaleureux. En poussant un peu le gain, on obtient une petite satu qui est sympa.
Le rapport qualité prix est trés bon, voir meme trés trés bon.
Je referais ce prix sans aucunes hesitations.

The implementation of high speed, low noise, low-distortion electronics makes the E200 the ideal candidate for the most critical applications.
OVERALL OPINION
Great Bang for the buck! Generally regarded as an accurate mic, with less coloration. Very Cool: Has 3 patterns: Cardioid, Omni and Figure 8. Handles the Hi SPL that drums requires, yet can handle vocalists--solo or duets and can do guitars and sound fx. I love the flexibility. Looks great for impressing clients. I find it great for my voice (makes it smooth and "silky-bassy", like late night talk radio). Depending on the source, you can switch in a -10 pad in cardioid mode which makes it VERY quiet. In Omni mode, with the pad off, it picks up everything in the room (and the next room if you leave the door open) It's big and has weight, so don't stick it on a real light boom extended out too far. In sum, a jack of all trades, perfect for a serious home studio, IMO.

The price of this microphone makes it very desirable for someone who is one a budget and wants great quality. This microphone is very affordable for the quality of audio it puts out. This microphone can be used for live or for recording, also can be used for acoustic instruments and as a overhead microphone. The E200 has high speed OP Amps whih is used for a better performance to with a high gain. The CAD company manufactures this microphone in the USA in the state of Ohio. They have since discontinued the making of this microphone and it has been replaced by a different model. But you can still find this online to purchase at various stores or online sites.

I have been using it fro a few years, as well as other microphones from CAD and I will continue to use their microphones. I am happy with our choice to purchase this microphone and would do it again in a heart beat. Purchase this microphone.

(contenu en anglais)The CAD e200 is a large diaphragm side address condenser microphone that is designed for use in the studio. It's got three pick up patterns to choose from, including cardoid, omnidirectional, and figure eight and actually has dual single diaphragms in it. The frequency response starts all the way down at 10 Hz and goes up to 18 kHz. It also has a high pass filter at 80 Hz and a -20 db pad. It's definitely best suited for use in the studio or for broadcast and I wouldn't recommend using it for live shows. It also comes with it's own shock mount and can run on battery power if needed.
OVERALL OPINION
For the price, the CAD e200 is an awesome microphone. It would be a nice microphone even if it were a bit more expensive, but considering the low price it's that much better. It's a versatile microphone as I've had success using it for recording both bass guitar, vocals, and on the outside of a kick drum. They also advertise the mic as being a broadcast microphone, which makes sense given it's versatility and wide frequency response, but I haven't tried it myself for any non-musical applications. The mic is definitely not limited to these applications, as I'm sure it would work well across the board in situations where you'd want a nice sounding large diaphragm condenser. While the sound and versatility are all well and good, it's the price that really makes this a popular microphone. Don't get me wrong, it's a good mic on it's own, but it wouldn't seem nearly as good if it was say, double the price as some comparable mics are. For this reason it's the perfect all purpose microphone for the home studio owner on a budget. If you fall into this category, do yourself a favor and consider the e200!
