Pour qui sonne la cloche ? La marque d’amplis pour basse Glockenklang ne s’est jamais inscrite dans le créneau des gros amplis à lampes avec un son typé par nature. Le fabricant a toujours privilégié les transistors, mais, produit haut de gamme et sans concession oblige, ce sont en général des amplis rares, chers, et loin du format le plus compact et léger possible que la majeure partie des constructeurs adopte. Toutefois, ils sont entrés récemment dans le marché des amplificateurs en classe D, réduisant ainsi le poids et le prix de leurs amplificateurs, tout en cherchant à ne pas faire de compromis sonores. The Steamhammer is our next Class D amp. Like all other Glockenklang amps, it features a warm and dynamic sound up to full power. Class A input stage, footswitchable Drive stage with Level pot and adjustable Voice filter, on-switchable 4-band eq with 2 frequency switchable Mids, switchable effects-loop, mp3-player input, symmetrical, level-switchable DI-out, tuner out and phones output are the main features. 19" rack-ears, bag and high-end mains cable are optional.
