Comme elle est très rudimentaire (pas de levier ni d'arrêt en fin de disque, pas d'antiskating) j'ai acheté une Sony semi automatique des années 80 et qui est dite du haut de gamme.
Et bien ma petite Stanton à un bien meilleur son. Plus de dynamisme et de définition.[/b]
Tant pis pour l'automatisme de la Sony que je vais revendre mais je vais garder ma T50 car le son est extra.00- ericthegreat

(contenu en anglais)I was looking for a new turntable after the motor in my old one had died. My requirements are for a turntable to connect to my computer to digitize my record collection, and some occasional light DJ work. I already have a mixer for the line output and the cartridge from the old table, so the T.50X was the economical choice for me.
Setup out of the box took a matter of minutes, including balancing the tone arm. I've been very impressed with the overall performance of the T.50X. I was skeptical at first about the straight (and short) tone arm, but I have not detected any problems at all with tracking or channel separation due the angle of the stylus at the outer and inner tracks of any LP. The start up and stop times are just as advertised; less than one second for both. Speed adjustment is smooth and stable. The only features missing from this entry-level unit are a USB and/or line level output (available on other models), but a simple mixer with a phono input or a preamp will provide the necessary signal level to connect to a computer. You don’t have to use this has a DJ turntable if you don’t want, you can use it just too listen to if you have a lot of old records that you want to play. But if that’s your purpose you can get a really cheap record player for that, because the T.50x is built to take a serious beating from us DJ’s that really go to work on these things!
Stanton has built a piece of equipment that will please both the beginning DJ and impress the seasoned pro. You will really enjoy this turntable, I own several of these now and will continue to support Stanton. They make some really good turntables, and as a seasoned DJ I really appreciate them.
00 - FmegoPublié le 03/01/09 à 11:35Soyons objectifs: Il est clair que pour ce prix là, on ne peut pas s'attendre à une super platine avec un pitch super précis et un couple assez élevé!
Mais il faut voir quel est l'utilisation qu'on souhaite en faire, pour ma part, elle me sert pour un mix occasionnel chez moi (en live j'utilise bien sûr 2 Sl 1200 MK2), et ça me suffit largement.
Il ne faut pas trop en demander, mais pour 99 euros, on a déjà une petite platine assez honnête!
P.S: le scratch est vivement déconseillé!!! (courroie)00 - John 44Publié le 26/05/08 à 00:57Cette platine est une vraie daube à la limite de l'utilisable : pas de couple, pitch peu précis, plastique pourri.
Tout bon à servir de décoration, ou juste pour lire des vinyls chez soi.
Cette platine n'ayant aucune qualité, peut on parler de rapport qualité/prix ? Ah si le slipmate peut servir de serviette de bar…00
