Fender has a somewhat new modeling series called the G-Dec 30 series. They have four different models to choose from depending on your musical tastes. This one is geared towards the blues side of music. So most of the presets will be catered towards lighter rock and blues distortion tones. You won't find high gainers here but more tones fitted for the vintage era of guitar playing.

There are many usable playing styles in this amp so don't think you can only play blues or classic rock. It is still fairly versatile and with the USB port you can update and add using their FUSE software.

    SOUNDS

I'm not much of a blues player and not really into vintage tones that much anyone, However, there is certainly a good warmth to those classic tones that sustains the guitar in an almost perfect way for lighter rock applications. Some of these early Fender tones are just remarkable. Makes me wanna grab a Fender Stratocaster and playing through some old deluxe presets.

With over 100 presets and 22 amp models you will have plenty of options to fill your guitar pallet. Personally I like this amp with a Strat or a Tele for some nice clean vintage tones. If you throw a Les Paul in front of it you won't be disappointing.

    OVERALL OPINION

Not a bad little amp if you are a blues guy and what a endless supply of tonal operation. At new these units come in at around $400 which to me is a little bit high for an amp modeler. You can find a plethora or amp modeling amps for around $100-$200. I personally like the Peavey stuff and the Roland and Vox modelers around $100.
