Je possède une technics SL-DD33 depuis plus de 10 ans
Je n'ai jamais changé la courroie, elle fonctionne parfaitement
L'avantage de cette platine, une fois bien parametré le diamant se pose automatiquement au bord du disque ( 45tours, 33 tours, ou Ep) et le bras revient à sa position initiale en fin de disque et ceci en appuyant sur le touche start uniquement.
Un bouton répétition permet de passer plusieurs fois le même disque.
A l'époque j'avais voulu cette platine car j'avais du mal quelquefois à trouver le sillon du disque et quelquefois ça sortait en dehors du disque sur un électrophone.
Autre chose, une fois bien configuré, j'ai durant de nombreuses années obtenu 99% de réussite le...…

La qualité malheureusement des diamants s'est détériorés au fil des années je pense, car au début j'utilisais un diamant de la marque Technics T4P (1 par an) , mais ensuite la marque n'a plus fabriqué est le diamant a eu une durée de vie plus courte, environ 6 mois.
Un diamant neuf a un super son avec cette platine mais au bout de quelque mois on commence a entendre des craquements et le son est moins claire à partir du moment ou on nettoie ses disque à l'alcool à 90° quand sa sèche le craquement s'entend avec un pointe usagée mais moins avec un disque neuf non nettoyé à l'alcool.
Cette platine est très bien pour écouter sa collection de vinyl, pas pour scratcher à la manière d'un DJ.
J'ai recemment acheté une platine Koolsound, le son est très bien surtout avec les cellules et diamants ORTOFON, de plus il dure plus longtemps. Mais je n'ai pas l'arret en fin de disque, la fonction répétition , le positionnement automatique. Un peu plus contraignant.

J'utilise cette platine de salon depuis 5 ans environ.
Comme toutes les Technics elle est très fiable et très solide, à condition de la réserver à l'usage pour lequel elle a été conçue, ce qui exclut bien sûr le DJing.
C'est ma première platine et j'en suis très content.
Bon, c'est le bas de gamme de chez bas de gamme c'est sûr, mais enfin le son est correct et la mécanique solide, c'est l'essentiel. Le rapport qualité/prix est donc très bon.
Je la rachèterais aujourd'hui sans hésiter, surtout vu l'argus actuel !

(contenu en anglais)This is a review of the Technics SL-BD22 Turntable System. I had also inherited this from the basement. When I first started producing, I realized that if I wanted to be like Kanye or Scott, I would need to dive into a major part of production: Sampling. I had always been skeptical of turntables because I had assumed that it was be too hard and too time consuming to try and figure out how to connect a turntable to the computer.
I was told that I had to start sampling if I didn't want to sound monotonous, so I decided to snatch this from the bookshelf in the family room and bring it up to my room. I was full of doubt that I would actually get it hooked up correctly because I thought that it was old and dated. I turned the turntable around and saw a little red and a little white port. Yes, RCA was built right into the back of this turntable that I thought was older than fire. I grabbed my handy RCA to 1/8" cable, and away I went. I was surprised at how easy it was to get this to work. I even got it to work on my HP laptop.
For those out there spending a hundred or so dollars on a USB turntable, you're wasting your time. If you have no audio setup whatsoever, but just a computer, this will work for you. Shell out the couple dollars for a RCA to 1/8" cord and you will be putting records into your DAW in no time. I had believed that it would be far too hard to get this to work and I was wrong.
First off, the simplicity of this turn table is one of its high points. If you move the needle towards the record, it'll start spinning. Put the needle back in the cradle, and the record will stop. It's a belt-drive turntable though, so it will not be the choice of a DJ. However, the belt drive is ideal for sampling because the belt-driven motor will compensate for microvibrations that would otherwise be picked up by the needle.
In terms of features, it's an easy turntable. You can stop the record by holding down a little button. Let the button go and the record will start again. A little slider will choose between 45 and 30 revolutions-per-minute, and you can fine tune this will a little slider to increase or decrease overall pitch. There is also a cue switch.
To wrap this review up, I have to say that I enjoy this turntable, and was surprised at the ease of use. Don't be fooled by USB Turntable manufacturers saying that it's the easiest way by far to get records to your computer. This is not true. All you need is a cord and you're good to go. The needle is a snap to replace as it just pops off of the arm, and they're relatively cheap, too. I really enjoy this turntable.
