Description
Amazing"
Overall:
5 out of 5 stars
(see rating details)
Once a manufacturer stops making a product, it seems everyone wants it and it becomes one of the greatest pieces of gear. So is the case for a CAD E350. Other vintage mics I own, don't often live up to the hype, but the E350 does, in spades. Possibly the best microphone I have ever heard. It has a silky presence, smooth even response and a touch of magic that tickles your ear in a way that is indescribable. It has all the qualities of the great mics of old, wrapped into one package. Maybe that's why the mic is so large. I have used it for voice over, singers, guitar, oboe, you name it, it makes everything shine. CAD should take notice and reintroduce this mic, which was made totally in the USA. It's a rare gem."
