Thank you so much guys. Auto-level seems to be very interesting knowing that it can boost low levels and compress high ones without taking into account signals under specific db level. I have also found on this webpage that "when the signal exceeds -6dB, SoftClip gently starts to clip it and add harmonics, creating a warm sound". Did you try this as well ? Is your tailor rich ?
