01/W FD Standard Factory Preload
This is a copy of the standard factory preload data that was contained in FILE A on the 01/W FD preload disk. Although 01/W's can be reloaded via their Global mode, this data file gives you the demo sequences by Stephen Kay.
Download the file 01wpl.mid
This file is a Standard Midi File and can be loaded into most modern hardware and computer based midi sequencers (you can load it into Windows Media Player as well) Once loaded into a sequencer it can be played out via Midi to the 01/W just like playing a song.
Connect the MIDI OUT socket from your PC/sequencer to the MIDI IN socket on the 01/W.
Switch on the 01/W and set the basic MIDI channel to 1 (Global Midi Channel) and set the System Exclusive filter to enable.
Load the .mid file into your PC/sequencer and transmit it to the 01/W. (The 01/W should display a receiving message while data is being transmitted to it.)
When all data has been transmitted you should find that all factory sounds and sequences have been restored.
