Avis Global

The Grado 1/4" Extension Cable is a simple cable that is to be used in any situation where you would need to extend a 1/4" cable. The main application that we use this for at the studio where I work is for extending headphone cables. This is definitely the sturdiest headphone extension cable I've ever seen before, and the ones we've got run about 15 feet. There are definitely cheaper headphone extension cables out there if you need them for your home studio, as this probably isn't necessary in anything other than a top of the line professional studio, and even then you can probably get away with using a cheaper, thinner one. Having said this, it's definitely nice to have the Grado 1/4" Extension Cables around because you know that they aren't going to break or cut out! I had a bunch of cheaper 1/4" extension cables for my home studio but most of them are now broken and it hasn't even been that long since I got them. At least with the Grado's you know that you're getting a very solid connection and something that won't break. Of course the price you pay for this is going to be a lot more than you would your average headphone extension cable, so that's why I don't think it would be worth it for any studio other than a professional one to have these. I don't think you could buy these in too many stores, but online you can get them in a few places. The bottom line with this 1/4" extension cable is that you aren't going to find many that are made better than this one. Regardless of where you're working out of, if you're in the market for one the best 1/4" headphone extension cable possible, regardless of price, look no further than the Grado...
