Je l'ai utilisé pendant 10 ans et il ne m'a jamais laissé tomber

    Korg SG-RackPublié le 01/10/12 à 23:13
contenu en anglais (contenu en anglais)
The Korg SG Rack has 64 voices mono, and 32 for stereo. The effects are pretty
good as well for it to be an older rack, it has reverb,
stereo delay, stereo flanger, auto pan, wah and a few
others. I am pretty sure there are a total of 12 different
effects on the Korg SG Rack. The LCD screen on the SG Rack
has seemed to get dimmer on me over the years but I can still
read what is on the screen. This SG model from Korg is a rack-able
unit that only takes one rack space.

    UTILIZATION

The highlight for the Korg SG Rack is the fact that it has some
of the best piano sounds out, there are a few sounds that
are exactly the same as the Pro X board, which is expected
since they are both made by Korg. The general configuration and
set up of this rack is very easy. But when I purchased it, it
did not come with a manual. That was no problem though because
it is just that easy to set up.

    SOUNDS

The Korg SG Rack came out in the late 90's and I have been using it
for almost 10 years now. This is where the bulk of all my piano sounds
have come from in all of my music and I refuse to use piano
sounds from my other boards because that is how much I love the
Piano patches on the Korg SG Rack.

    OVERALL OPINION

The only issue that I am having with the SG Rack is that over
the last couple of years the LCD light has got really dim,
it makes it hard to read unless you are in a completely dark room
with no lights on. But if you have any lighting on in the room
the screen is so hard to read. I have found a solution to getting it
fixed but for the price that it cost to get fixed its not really worth it
considering the unit is 14 years old and the cost of getting it fixed
is more than what the unit is worth today. If you can get your hands
on one of these you should buy it. Some people are selling them online
for a really low price. You can really use the piano sounds on the Korg
    SG Rack!
