A demixing software project for WAV and MP3 files designed to decompose the mixed and mastered material to single audio tracks that you can mix again in any DAW.
DeMixx it to single mono, stereo and surround sound files which you can later import to your favourite DAW software.
The algorithm works not only on principle of analysis of the frequency response of particular instruments. It can also detect the colour, dynamics and other musical aspects of the source sounds.
Working with original audio tracks is of course bounded by the copy right. DeMixxer will therefore use online music stores as audio sources only to avoid using of illegal material.
