The Gyratec II is an All Tube recording Channel. Due to an EU legislation about materials in component, the Gyraf best seller is discontinued. The channel include a preamp, an equalizer and an optical compressor. You can choose weither you prefer the signal to follow a PRE > EQ > COMP path or a PRE > COMP > EQ path.

Preamp

• A Mic/ Line / Instrument tube preamplifier with respectively 1Kohm, 10Kohm and 1MOhm impedance for the imput.
• 48V Phantom Power
• 4 5814 Vacuum Tubes (substituable with ECC82)
• Mic and Line imput transformer Balanced
• Low-cut filter (6dB/Oct) at 15Hz, 80Hz or 160Hz

EQ

• Three band bypassable
• Boost / cut type with fixed Q.
• 6dB per Oct passive filter.
• High and low are Shelf curved, Mid is bell curved.

COMPRESSOR

• Optical compression.
• Threshold, Ratio, attack and release control.

METER AND OUTPUT

• Meter with selection of source (gain reduction, input or output)
• Output Level.
