Hi Gwenolec

The Saffire FireWire interfaces are no longer under development support, therefore we recommend that users do not upgrade beyond macOS Catalina or their Windows OS beyond Windows 10 build 1809. As beyond these OS builds we do not know how the devices will react or function. I have linked our articles regarding the End of Development support and compatibility below.

We commit to providing development support for all of our products while they're in the market, and for a period of two years after we've stopped selling them. For the Saffire FireWire Range, we greatly extended this development support period and provided development support for over 10 years since the products were launched.

Technical Support will continue to offer help with all of our products indefinitely because we understand how important it is to be able to talk to someone about your product. However, there will no longer be any further driver updates as our development and QA teams at some point need to shift their focus to the new things we're working on, this is what allows us to continue innovating, bringing out exciting new products and offering technical support to all of our customers.

I have linked a Microsoft article below which can assist you in finding out the exact version of Windows 10 you have. If you are running a version older than 1809 then the Pro40 you have most likely will not function correctly.
