At the NAMM Show in Anaheim/USA (January 19-22, 2012), the Heilbronn audio specialist beyerdynamic is presenting a special limited edition of the legendary studio headphones DT 770 PRO.

The studio classic DT 770 PRO is known for its long life and was developed specifically with this criterion in mind, so that numerous high-usage parts are extremely robust and in case of need can be replaced easily. In addition, it has an innovative bass reflex system, which achieves optimum sound results and perfect bass reproduction. As a result, it has been considered the headphone ideal among studio headphones for years, is popular worldwide and highly appreciated by its users.

The limited anniversary edition to honor the 88th anniversary of beyerdynamic is a treat with respect to comfort and look. The spring steel head bow with the eco-friendly electrophoretic coating provides optimum pressure on the ears and is enclosed by a  very comfortable Softskin head band. This can be replaced easily in next to no time and wiped clean with a damp cloth if necessary. The black, anodized aluminum brackets hold the extremely sturdy, glass bead reinforced cups in place, and replaceable Softskin ear cushions ensure comfortable and secure fit. The OFC (oxygen free copper) and consequently long-life cable with screwable 6.35 mm (1/4") stereo jack adapter ensures optimum connection to every available headphone outlet.

The anniversary headphones are completely in black. As a highlight, the aluminum lables with the embossed anniversary number "88" stand out especially. The design of the DT 770 PRO anniversary model rocks a lot more and appears unconventional without restricting the sturdiness and functions of the headphones.

Another special feature in this model is the impedance of 32 ohms, which makes the headphones especially well suited for use on mobile terminals such MP3 players as well as on notebooks. Of course, the limited anniversary edition of the DT 770 PRO is "handmade in Germany" as is the standard model.


The limited anniversary edition DT 770 PRO in 32 ohm is supplied in an exclusive retro box and will be available in stores starting from the end of March.
