1 Problème d'assignation entre Live ableton 8 et FCB 1010

BOnjour.

Voilà plusieurs semaines que je me galère complètement à essayer de piloter live avec mon FCB 1010 que j'ai acheté d'occasion.

J'ai dû commander des Etats-Unis une carte mémoire EPROM.

Après avoir éclusé tous les sites, forums et tutos concernant ce problème d'assignation, mon cerveau commence réellement à fumer; et pourtant je suis persuadé que j'ai fait le plus dur et le plus fastidieux.

Je ne suis plus très loin!

Mais là je crois que je tourne en rond et qu'il n'y à plus rien à faire, si ce n'est, m'acharner sur le FCB ou bien sa notice qui date de 2001...

EN fait je ne sais déjà pas par où commencer :

dois-je appuyer sur les touches 1 et 6 maintenues pendant que j'allume le pédalier,

ou bien alors dois-je seulement appuyer sur "DOWN" pendant que je mets en marche l'alimentation?

 

Ensuite je ne comprends pas bien ce que doit recevoir Live Ableton du FCB 1010 :

est-ce des notes ou bien des Control Changes???

Si l'un d'entres vous peut me donner la démarche détaillée de ce problème d'assignation  je l'en remercie

J'avais trouvé ce site mais en fait il ne détaille qu'au début à la mise en marche du FCB,

comme je ne m'y connais pas en language midi je ne sais pas  comment programmer le FCB avec live 8...

ABLETON LIVE FCB1010 REMOTE CONTROL SURFACE MAPPINGS
This document describes how to setup and use the Remote Control Surface Mappings for the Behringer FCB1010 foot controller in Ableton Live 6.
INSTALLATION
First, download the installation files from https://bl0rg.net/~manuel/fcb1010-mappings/FCB1010.zip . Unzip the zip file and copy the folder “FCB1010” into the Ableton Live’s “MIDI Remote Scripts” folder.
Under MacOSX, this folder can be found inside the Live.app bundle by right clicking on the “Live.app” file and choosing “Show Package Contents”:
Under Windows, this folder is found in the Ableton installation directory (most often in “C:Program FilesAbleton”) in the folder “Resources”.
After the folder was copied, plug-in your FCB1010 and connect it to the computer. Then start Ableton Live. Open up the preferences panel and go to “MIDI Sync” panel. Select “FCB1010” as your control surface (if “FCB1010” does not appear in the list, verify that you have copied the “FCB1010” folder to the correct location as described above), and configure the input MIDI port and the output MIDI port accordingly. In this example I use the Port A of a MIDISPORT adapter.
If this is the first time you are using the Live remote control mappings, you have to upload a new configuration to the FCB1010. Be sure to save your current settings! Uploading the new configuration will overwrite your current settings on the FCB1010. To upload the new configuration, press the “DOWN” foot control while turning on the FCB1010. Keep pressed for a few seconds, then release. The “DIRECT SELECT” LED should turn green. Press two times on the “UP” foot control to reach the “CONFIG” page. Press the “7” foot control to active SYSEX RCV.  The FCB1010 is now ready to receive the new configuration file. Press “Dump” in the Ableton configuration screen. The LEDs of the FCB1010 should flash, and the LED of foot control “7” should turn off. You can now switch the FCB1010 to normal mode by pressing the “DOWN” foot control for a few seconds. You may need to select a preset on the FCB1010 to ensure normal operation: simply press foot control “10”.
MODE OF OPERATION
The remote surface control mapping for the FCB1010 uses the 10 banks of the FCB1010. The bank “00” plays a special role as the “main controller”. The functions of the foot controls is show in the graphic below. Pressing the foot controls “1” through to “7” will toggle the selected clip in the current scene. So for example, if you have a clip on Track 1, and it is in the currently selected scene, pressing foot control “1” will trigger the clip. Pressing foot control “1” again will stop the clip. This will work for up to 7 tracks. To fire the whole current scene, press the foot control “8”. To move to the scene above, press foot control “9”, to move to the scene below, press control “10”.
The expression pedals have a special meaning in the FCB1010 mappings. They are automatically assigned to the first two parameters of an instrument, audio or midi effect rack in the selected track. In the case of bank “00”, this is the mastertrack. Drop an audio effect on the mastertrack, and uses the pedals. You will notice that they are mapped to the first two parameters of the rack.
The banks “01” through to “09” are assigned to a track. Bank “01” controls the first track in the current set, bank “02” the second, and so on up to the ninth track. This also works when tracks are added, deleted or moved. The mappings for the track banks are as shown in the graphic below:
As with the expression pedals, the first four foot controls interact with the first rack in the track’s device chain. These four switches enable you to switch between different chains inside the first rack. This is done by setting the chain select parameter of the rack. Foot control “1” will set it to “0”, foot control “2” to “32”, foot control “3” to “64” and foot control “4” to 96. This allows you for example to switch between different presets or sound effects by setting up the chain selection like shown in the image below:

Dès fois, il y a des bug avec ce genre de programme, ce n'est pas forcément un défaut du pédalier...

J'ai récupéré un FCB 1010 en vue d'une utilisation avec Ableton Live 8 (armement de pistes, d'effets, modulation au pied...).
A vrai dire : tout foire, je ne peux rien commander.

Commençons part dire que le FCB est relié au PC non via la carte son (Firebox dont j'ai perdu le cable DB9/MIDI) mais via un convertisseur MIDI / USB (EDIROL UM-1x)

pour des premiers tests j'ai mis l'édirol en "TELEC" dans les préf Live 8, il ne reçois que des "pitchbend" et aucune action (sur un armement de piste par ex).

Je me suis donc documenté sur Midi bome's translator et tenté le coup avec la version "classic".
lorsque qu je fais une capture midi pour l'édition d'un nouveau préset, il note par par ex "C1 00" c'est tout. Il ne devrait pas apparaitre quelque chose du genre "90 6E pp" par ex

Du coup j'ai l'impression soit que le FCB envoi de infos incomplete (du coup je fait un reset du pédlaier ?) ou bien que le convertisseur EDIROL transmets mal les infos

Quelqu'un peut-il m'éclairer ?

Salut,
Il me semble que le FCB, par défaut, envoi des CC. Il faut le programmer pour qu'il envoi des notes (90 .. ..). Si tu es sur PC, utilise l'éditeur FCB1010 Midi Editor (iFCB sur mac je crois). J'ai décrit les opérations en page 1 de ce sujet. Selon ce que tu veux faire, Midi Bome's Translator n'est pas nécessaire.

pour ma part avec FCB midi editor j'ai un problème à l'étape de transmission.
Le 7 est bien allumé, la transmission s'effectue à priori correctement, mais le voyant 7 reste allumé !! ensuite, ben ça foire !
quelqu'un a-t-il eu ce problème ?

Eh, a tous hasards, tu branches bien in et out des ports midi de ton pédalier ?

bonjour déterrage de post, j'ai bien suivi les mêmes étapes et j'ai d'ailleurs les msg de midi qui apparaissent mais avec de simples "notes" cochées dans l'éditeur je n'ai rien qui entre dans ableton live.
D'ailleurs dans le midi monitor sur mac j'ai aussi le bon canal (1) et la note qui apparait

en fait il semble que la valeur (vélocité ou autre) de ma note joué soit 0 !! il est donc probable que cela soit ça !!

salut ! méga déterrage de topic ! j'ai une grosse pelle lol

j'ai suivi les indications page une et bah ma lumiere de la touche 7 veut po s'eteindre apres l'envoy du preset , quelqu'un a la solution ? j'ai fais un reset mainte et mainte fois rien y fais , in sur out et out sur in j'utilise fcb midi editor pour envoyer un .syx qui est censer la configurer pour envoyer des notes mais ableton me dit qu'il recoi des pitchbend ... je mis perd un peu dans tout ca please help me :) jvous aiderai a remettre la terre ensuite :)

je me rend compte que j'ai le firmware uno v 1.0.2f est ce que c'est bon ou ca pause soucis ? j'ai vu que sa pouvais mais j'ai po tout compris ..

Soit ton FCB ne fonctionne pas, soit tu n'as pas bien suivi la procédure... Je vois pas d'autres possibilités !
Les premières étapes te semble correcte ? Tu as bien les voyants qui clignotent / s'allument comme indiqué ?
A l'étape 4, tu n'as bien que le 7 d'allumé ?
C'est comme ça que fonctionne un FCB sorti d'usine. Il y a peut-être une subtilité avec la version Uno ?
Es-tu sûr que FCB Midi editor envoie quelque chose ? T'as des voyants sur ton interface midi ? Ça clignote ? redirige vers un soft comme Midi-Ox pour être sûr...

Il faut bel et bien attribuer des notes à chaque pédale.
TOUT est sur la page 8, c'est un peu chiant à effectuer, mais ça marche =)
