Logiquement, c'est une capacité qui est installée sur certains SH8 (genre la Squier Bob L'Eponge de Blink41 Day, un truc de ce genre).
C'est pas indispensable, ça permet de donner un plus de réponse dans les graves quand le potard de volume est pas complètement ouvert, comme les potards en 1mOhms pour les aigus.
Mais c'est pas ça qui change radiclement le grani d'un micro

First I would turn the treble control counter clock-wise to knock off the high end of a pickup. You can also solder one side of a capacitor to the hot terminal of a pickup and solder the other side to ground. I would start with low values until you find the desire roll-off. A typical capacitor used for a tone control can be .05 mfd or .022 mfd., which can roll off too much high end on a pickup. I’ve used .0022 mfd, .0033 mfd, .0047 mfd. between the hot and ground and it can give a pickup more bass. Using a weaker magnet will make the pickup sound warmer and softening the high- end. Adding turns to the existing pickup or using a smaller diameter gauge of magnet wire will give the pickup more bass. Adding turns can increase output and by adding more turns will add capacitance to the pickup making it have more bass or decreased high-end. Moving a pickup closer to the neck position will add more bass and using heavier strings will give the pickup more bass or fuller sound.

Moi j'ai un sh8 invader et il ne ressemble pas du tout a ce que vous en dites... cela vient peut etre du fait que j'ai changé la resistance d'origine 
A l'origine je trouve le invader tres criard... et là il est tres "droit" avec des basse, de l'aigue et du gain juste comme il faut. Vraiment il est au top ce micro
Perso je trouve les EMG un peu "froid" ca manque de groove je trouve. Mais apres tout depend du son que l'on recherche

Tout a fait draghixa !!! et encore heureux que ca change pas trop le son du micro car il est vraiment bon quand meme 
Cependant en lui rajoutant des bass je t'assure qu'il devien bocoup plus moelleux et moins criard.

En fait, c'est surtout l'avalanche de gain qui me déplait vraiment, j'préfère avoir du gain en réserve sur mon ampli que miser sur ce genre de micros (j'ai un SH8 en ce moment, j'ai eu un X2N, un SH13 et un 500XL, rien à faire)...
