Recording Tools MRP-01

The MRP-01 is a classical ribbon microphone, known for its realistic reproduction of recorded material. In contrast to conventional dynamic or condenser microphones, the sound of MRP-01 is soft and natural, with a slight hint of heat, which is typical for ribbon microphones.

The MRP-01 is an extremely thin aluminum ribbon (1.8 microns) was used. This allows for higher sensitivity and faster transient response compared to standard 2.5 micron ribbon of competing models.
