Bonjour,

Voilà je souhaiterai acheter un pédalier pour le live. Je joue essentiellement du rock progressif, jazz rock 70, blues rock... Pourriez-vous me conseiller entre le Tonelab et le Pod Xt live ?
Je ne joue pas sur ampli mais directement sur sono.

Je pense que tu peux largement prendre le Vox. A choisir entre le POD, je te conseille Tonelab, parce qu'il y a une lampe, et un simulateur d'amplis! Pour jouer sur sono... C'est le top, je pense. Les sons que tu cherche? Pas de problème, à la base, c'est plus vintage, même si celui ci est typé plus métal... Mais il est très très bon pour le blues ect... J'adore, je te le conseille!

Salut,
Cherche pas le problème là où il est pas. Tous ces pédaliers offrent une plaïade de possibilités dans tous les styles. A la limite le moins métal que je connaisse serait le tonelab SE, que j'ai du reste... Maintenant si t'es vraiment branché sur un type de son, achète les pédales correspondantes !
Moi je suis passé du pod2, dont j'étais ravi vers le TLSE qui apporte tout de même plus de chaleur pour un son plus ample.

Sinon existerait t'il un moyen de connaitre les modélisations d'ampli reproduites sur le Tonelab ? Elles sont données pour le Pod XT Live mais rien sur le Tonelab, on ne sait pas à quel amplis fait référence tel modélisation. . .

Pour ma part, je suis fan de pédale comme BIG MUFF d' Electro Harmonix et au niveau amplis, Fender Bassman, Twin Reverbe... Marshall JCM 800 aussi

Euh, le Pod aussi a un simulateur d'ampli hein, d'ailleurs c'est un simulateur d'amplis. Personnellement, je te conseillerais d'essayer les deux, je ne joue pas de métal et je suis très content du Pod quand je le branche direct sur sono...

Je conseille également d'essayer les deux.
J'ai un POD et un TONELAB... le POD est plus varié, plus synthé aussi... par contre, sur une sono, il n'y a pas photo: le tonelab est nettement plus agréable et réaliste en sons clairs et crunch. Je ne le conseillerai pas pour le heavy métal.

NERDY HISTORICAL NOTE: VOX initially called this their "Brilliance
Unit" but it quickly became known as "Top Boost." When Top Boost was
first introduced it was only available as a retrofit assembly. Even
though this modification was not particularly difficult to add, it
was beyond most folk (hey, I dunno about you, but messing around
with electricity is hardly my idea of fun!). Consequently, in 1964,
Top Boost was fitted to the AC30 as standard.

NOTE: As the original doesn't have a Presence control, PRESENCE
is "neutral" when "off," but can be used to add "extra" sparkle and
cut to the model if you so wish.

TONAL HINT: To duplicate this "big sounding" little amp even more
accurately, turn the POWER SELECT to 15W on the AD60VT and 15W x 2
on the AD120VT.

Tweed 4x10: Modeled after a Fender Bassman 5F6-A
Amp specs: 4x10", 35-40 Watts
Tube specs: 1x12AY7, 2x12AX7's, 1xGZ34, 2x5881's

TONAL NOTE: Just like on the original, the Middle and Treble control
of TWEED 4x10 are highly interactive and high settings of the Middle
control automatically add treble to your sound. As a result, you may
want to turn down the Treble control as a counter measure.
Conversely, low Middle settings reduce treble so you might wanna
crank the Treble a little more in such instances.

Il n'est pas TYPE metal, mon prof de guitare qui est dans le Jazz l'adore, il va se l'acheter, il avait auparavant une autr epédale (je ne me souviens plus laquelle) et il a directement entendu la différence. La lampe fait la différence!
