V/A c'est quasi-certain.

Cela dit si c'est du V/A qui sonne comme une MicroTonic, je dis pas non ...

Ce qui serait surtout bien c'est des sorties séparées par instru avec une paire stéréo qui somme les instru qui ne sortent pas en séparé en plus, mais le hic c'est que les sorties séparées ça coute cher :(

Bonjour a tous, d aprés quelqu un qui aurait testé la bete ( enfin un prototype en novembre) (témoignage sur le site ohpeewon) il s agirait de 4 machines que roland se prepare a sortir.
Toutes digitales, et orienté live plutot que studio, avec un prix plus bas que la tradition roland.

I got to play with prototypes back in November. Non disclosure agreement expires now that the Aira site is up. All 4 Aira machines are digital, but will use modeling technology rather than PCM. The TR-08 has 909 sounds as well. They are not software controllers. This new division of Roland is dedicated to hardware since software has taken a huge chunk of their sales. Pieces are solid and well built. Pricing will be extremely un-Roland (low) from what they told me. I'm not going to quote them here, though. Aira units are geared toward live performance rather than recording. One of them will have a very promising functionality. I really can't say much more in a public forum, but feel free to inbox me with any burning questions. Only 2 of the 4 prototypes were operational, TR-08 being one of them. Played with them for about 45 mins. Great fun.

in bulletpoints:
the whole aira range is 100% digital
the drum machine has both 808 and 909
not a controller (sorry mpc renaissance / maschine fans)
lower than usual (for roland at least) pricing
live performance oriented


plus the dutch online shop posted expected availiability in 24 weeks.

all things considered - it's kinda lame, just like with the jupiter series: people were yearning for a proper roland polyphonic synth and all it turned out to be was YET ANOTHER rompler keyboard, thus contributing to roland's long and sad story of wasted potential (think modern-day SH and junos and all the shitty grooveboxes)
I'm sure any of the decent, currently availiable 808/909 clones will eat the new aira for breakfast.

Ca m'apparait pas mal sur le papier. Parler du JP-80 comme d'un clavier rompler de plus, c'est soit du gros troll, soit n'avoir rien compris a la chose. Si ca sonne, que le prix est interessant et l'ergonomie bonne, ca serait un joli retour de Roland.
