« Carr Rambler, excellent amp all around »

I have owned and used a Carr Rambler 1x12" combo amp for about 3 years and it has always performed to my total satisfaction. It has a robust, musical and dynamic voice, it's design is very flexible, the build quality is world class and the amp is worth every dollar/euro/ruble. I am a professional musician and I've owned many different "boutique" amps over the past 30 years - this is one of the best if not THE BEST for pure and clean guitar tones at low to mid volume levels. It handles all types of FX pedals and this makes it suitable for all styles , ranging from clean Jazz, Country, Blues/Soul/Rock A Billy/Roots Rock , whatever - not big and thumpy enough for Hard Rock or Metal styles. Depending on your choice of speaker you can tailor your sound in all directions. It is not a light weight amp but manageable.
