Comme avec sa grande soeur, le plaisir est au rendez-vous. Guitare facile à jouer, ayant "pratiquement" le même timbre que le modèle "standard". Attention toutefois à ne pas corder avec des élastics (faibles tirants) , en effet cette guitares nécessite du COSTAUD pour sonner pleinement (à partir de 10-52 et plus) , ceci n'étant pas un réel problème car l'instrument est d'un extrème confort une fois "réglé" correctement (vérifier le réglage du...…

UTILISATION

Attention toutefois à ne pas corder avec des élastics (faibles tirants) , en effet cette guitares nécessite du COSTAUD pour sonner pleinement (à partir de 10-52 et plus) , ceci n'étant pas un réel problème car l'instrument est d'un extrème confort une fois "réglé" correctement (vérifier le réglage du manche-chevalet , et l'adapter à son style de jeu).
La guitare délivre tout son timbre dés les sonorités claires , elle devient une véritable Rolls-Roice quand on passe aux sons plus "crunchy" (légère saturation).
Cet instrument reprend donc les caractéristiques de sa grande soeur , mais elle est nettement plus confortable grace à une caisse plus petite.
SONORITÉS
Cet instrument convient parfaitement aux styles allant du Country Country-Rock Blues, en passant par le Rock'a'Billy (bien sûr!!).
Il est aussi parfait pour le JAZZ.
Attention , passé un certain VOLUME d'amplification et de saturation , cette guitare devient une véritable "USINE à LARSENS" que l'on doit apprendre à DOMPTER.
AVIS GLOBAL
Un bijou. Mais trop CHER , malheureusement , pour la plupart d'entre nous.
P.S.: faites un peu la guéguerre à vos revendeurs , à force de les TANNER les politiques commerciales deviennent généralement plus attrayantes pour les "clients" que nous sommes !!!!!!

(contenu en anglais)This American-made guitar has a gold bridge with a Bigsby Tremolo arm, a maple neck, a 22-fret rosewood fretboard, 2 Filtertron Pickups, and 2 volume knobs and a tone control, plus a master volume control.
UTILIZATION
This guitar's not too difficult to play; although the last frets generally aren't too easy to reach, they aren't too hard either, and if anything, getting adjusted to the guitar is the only thing necessary to make this irrelevant. The sounds produced by this guitar are great, too. The guitar has quite a vast range, able to get warm, clean tones when plugged straight in, as well as dangerously heavy tones when plugged through the right distortion box. It's a bit heavier than I would like, but I got used to that, too. And as far as I know, the drivers are perfectly stable. In fact, I think one of the most fun guitars to play that I've tried.
SOUNDS
I've really enjoyed using this with my favorite amp, the Fender '65 Deluxe Reissue. I got a great warm, slightly twangy tone out of it. I was really impressed when I plugged it into a Big Muff; it had a devastatingly heavy sound that added a TON of low end chunk to the record I was working on! While it was heavy, it wasn't Metallica-esque. A good reference point might be Queens of the Stone Age (who's guitar player, Josh Homme, has a preference for hollow bodied guitars.) The range of tones depends somewhat on your range of gear, but I was really impressed with the tones that I could get out of just the guitar and the amp. It isn't perfect for my style of music (my favorite guitar is a '67 strat reissue, so that suits my music better) but I definitely get my money's worth from it, and use it enough in the studio.
OVERALL OPINION
I like the unexpected versatility and the warmth of this guitar the best. I think that though the guitar is expensive, it is worth it for anyone who wants to get a hollow body and doesn't know where to start. The sound is pristine and versatile. I tried a few other hollow bodies that I didn't really prefer, mostly other Gretsches, but I don't recall the names of the other models. I don't regret this choice of purchase at all and would recommend it to anyone with a wide range of styles to cover.

(contenu en anglais)The Gretsch G6120Jr Nashville Jr. is a hollow body electric guitar that has 22 frets and two humbucker pick ups. I believe that the guitar was made in the Japan. The Nashville Jr. has two F-holes as well as a bigsby whammy bar. The guitar has a standard pick up switch along with volume and tone knobs for each of them.
UTILIZATION
Playing the Gretsch G6120Jr Nashville Jr. is a real pleasure, as the rosewood fretboard has a great feel. The guitar is extremely easy to play for both rhythm and lead guitar parts. The Nashville Jr. is a bit heavy for a hollow body, but doesn't make it hard to hold or anything like that. The shape and style of the guitar is one of the nicest that I have seen, as it really catches the eye. Getting a good sound isn't hard, and there are a good amount of different tones that you're able to get between the different pick ups...

For a hollow body guitar, the Gretsch G6120Jr Nashville Jr. certainly has a lot of growl to it. When I first plugged it in, I wasn't expecting it to have as fat of a tone as it does, as I was really expecting a more traditional hollow body sound. I first used the guitar for a session, as I recorded the guitar through a Big Muff and '65 Fender Deluxe Reverb amp, and the tone that I got was outstanding. It cut right through the mix and really took me by surprised. I did find that I was also able to get a more traditional hollow body tone for a clean sound, but I was amazed at the difference between the two that I was able to get...
