Amazing sound and expansion possibilities
Publié le 13/05/18 à 15:53I'm still new to the RedNet range, but it does sound incredible!
If you need stellar preamps and converters, the RedNet 4 will give you that for a portion of the price of its competitors.
The Dante network is a sea of possibilities, but so far I am interested in a very basic setup that I may expand in the future:
A RedNet 4 that I can place near the microphones (it has a quiet fan for when it is very hot, but you can turn it off in most environments), run an Ethernet cable (virtually as long as needed) to a RedNet AM2 and connect it to a laptop using Dante's Virtual Sound Card.
Channels 1 and 2 can be used as DIs.
There is a "new" version, the MP8R, that is only 1U tall and has dual...…

There is a "new" version, the MP8R, that is only 1U tall and has dual power supplies and network for redundancy, but no DIs.
Highly recommended!
