1u Comp/limiter/gate/ducker in stereo [ch2 linked as slave to ch1] or 2 independant mono dymanics processors [with sidechain]. Fairly transparent compression, if used subtely, otherwise the high-end suffers [usual in a single-band comp]. Useful hardware for gating, and limiting. [only 1 function at a time per channel]. Good as a PA limiter, better than Behringer, on a level with lower-end dbx units. Jack in / out / sidechains...
