One of the most impressive amps that Mesa has put out in recent years. The very first time I plugged into this amp I immediately knew that it was special. The versatility of this amp is astonishing! The clean and dirty channels are not over done or under performing.
I have to say that the clean are very impressive on this amp. And the ability to get a warmer or brighter tone with the clean fat and treed options.

SOUNDS
I love the clean tones of this amp but this amp lives on channel four. THe modern switch on channel four is very fun to play around with. Plug in a Gibson Les Paul or another humbucking style pickup guitar and you'll be rocking pretty good. You couldn't pull me away from this amp. I never got to try a Strat with this or another single coil guitar but I really didn't need to to. I was sold immediately just with the clean channel itself.
OVERALL OPINION
At new these amps come in at around $2300, which isn't a bad price for the performance that this amp offers. The footswitch allows you to turn the effects lop on and off which is real nice. So nothing comes between your guitar and amp when playing on the fly for a gig.
I would recommend this amp to any Mesa fan who loves the sound of a Recto but wants some more features and four channels. It would be good for an engineer to have this on hand in a studio because of the tonal versatility that is has.
