Fostex T20 RP : l'avis de moosers (contenu en anglais)
The Fostex T20 RPs are a set of studio headphones that can be used in a variety of different situations. I've only used these as headphones for monitoring during the recording process, but they are definitely suitable for general listening. However, I don't believe that these can be used for mixing as it really takes a special set of headphones to mix on. While I do think that the sound quality is quite good as it comes in pretty clear, these aren't the most comfortable headphones out there. I find that they fall off of my head easily as they don't tend to be all that secure. It is nice that you can adjust the size of them, but it seems that it comes undone easily, which is the main reason that they fall down. I also find that the parts that go over the ears aren't all that sturdy and definitely don't fit over my ears the way that I would like. While this isn't the best design overall for a set of headphones, they do have a good sound quailty and for this reason I would suggest trying them out if you are in the market for a good sounding set of studio headphones. This being said, while they sound good they aren't the best sounding headphones out there as they lack a certain presence that I would look for in a great set of studio headphones. Since the design isn't the best and the sound quality isn't anything to write home about, I don't think that these are a set of headphones that I would really recommend. Perhaps if they were a bit cheaper, but paired with the mid range price tag and sub par design, I would look elsewhere for a set of stereo studio headphones.
