Midas annonce le lancement de sa nouvelle console numérique XL8i, laquelle complète la ligne des tables numériques de la marque déjà composée de la serie PRO (Pro3, Pro6 et Pro9) ainsi que de la XL8.
Midas is delighted to announce the launch of the XL8i, a top-of-the-range addition to its digital audio line-up that includes the PRO Series (PRO3, PRO6 and PRO9) as well as the flagship XL8. The XL8i can be seen on Booth C6650 at InfoComm.
Responding to requests from the installation, house of worship and theatre markets, Midas has created a digital performance system which is more cost-effective than its forebear courtesy of a new input/output configuration which reduces the number of rack-mounted boxes needed while actually increasing connectivity. The XL8i is equally applicable to touring applications which do not require the XL8 96-channel 5-way active mic splitter system supplied as standard on the XL8.
“All the new systems use exactly the same technology and components as the XL8 and PRO6,” says John Oakley, managing director of Midas Klark Teknik. “This is a perfect example of the way our highly advanced networked audio strategy allows us to bring new products to the market very quickly.”
The XL8i naturally includes all the digital features the features made popular by the established Midas XL8 and PRO6 digital systems. This includes the overwhelmingly successful VCA and POPulation groups, which allow users to navigate channels intuitively, without the hindrance of layers or pages of faders. It will of course feature the legendary and much-loved Midas sound characteristics, which have their roots in the classic Midas analogue boards. The XL8i also benefits from the same comprehensive choice of effects and dynamics processing as the original system. The XL8i will be driven by the same modular processing engine as the XL8, and also feature fully dual redundant network architecture, dual control processors and extensive expansion options.
“The XL8 has been extremely successful in the fixed installation market,” says Midas and Klark Teknik’s brand development manager, Richard Ferriday. “System integrators and designers have embraced the concept of the XL8 as a system, rather than just a mixing console. XL8i offers greater flexibility, more options and a new entry price point for the venue with high input requirements working to a budget.”
Ok une version install de la XL8 quoi, logique vu le nom.
