The Moog Music 10-Band Graphic Equalizer is an analog effects unit that is exactly what the name states. It is indeed a rack mountable piece of gear and it will take up two rack space units.

UTILIZATION

The make up of the Moog Music 10-Band Graphic Equalizer is really basic as it simply has ten sliders set at fixed frequencies that you can cut or boost, as you would expect with a graphic EQ. It also has two other knobs to control the level of output coming out from the unit. If you have any experience with graphic EQs, the Moog Music 10-Band Graphic Equalizer is a cinch to understand and figure out. I've never seen the manual for the Moog Music 10-Band Graphic Equalizer so I can't speak to how helpful it would be, but the unit is easy enough to figure out without one.

SOUND QUALITY

The sound quality of the Moog Music 10-Band Graphic Equalizer is pretty good overall, but isn't anything all that crazy in my opinion. Don't get me wrong, it is definitely a clean sounding EQ but sometimes I feel like Moog Music products get hyped up a little bit so maybe I was expecting more. Either way, the Moog Music 10-Band Graphic Equalizer is a great EQ that will output just as clean of a signal as you send into it. While I usually prefer to use parametric EQs as I find them to have more control over your sound, this unit does provide a good amount of options and plenty of bands.

OVERALL OPINION

I've only been using the Moog Music 10-Band Graphic Equalizer for about a year. I'm a huge fan of all products made by Moog Music so I decided to check out this EQ and while Moog clearly isn't known for their signal processing gear, they definitely did a great job with this unit overall. While I wouldn't recommend it if you are looking for a single EQ to use for your home studio, it is a great addition to any studio looking to expand their outboard gear. The only problem is that these are extremely rare and hard to find and I really just got lucky. If you are a fan of Moog and are also an audio engineer, the Moog Music 10-Band Graphic Equalizer is a must try.

La composition du Moog Music 10-Band Graphic Equalizer est vraiment basique comme il l'a simplement dix curseurs fixé à fréquences fixes que vous pouvez couper ou booster, que vous pouvez attendre d'un égaliseur graphique. Il a aussi deux autres boutons pour contrôler le niveau de la production sortant de l'appareil. Si vous avez une expérience avec les égaliseurs graphiques, le Moog Music 10-Band Graphic Equalizer est un jeu d'enfant à comprendre et à comprendre. Je n'ai jamais vu le manuel pour le Moog Music 10-Band Graphic Equalizer donc je ne peux pas parler à la manière dont il serait utile, mais l'appareil est assez facile à comprendre sans un.

QUALITÉ SONORE

La qualité sonore de l'Moog Music 10-Band Graphic Equalizer est assez bon dans l'ensemble, mais qui n'est pas rien tout ce qui fou dans mon opinion. Ne vous méprenez pas, il est certainement un nettoyage sonore EQ mais parfois je me sens comme Moog Music Products obtenir hyped un peu alors peut-être que je m'attendais à mieux. De toute façon, le Moog Music 10-Band Graphic Equalizer est un égaliseur grande qui sera tout aussi propre sortie d'un signal que vous envoyez en elle. Alors je préfère habituellement utiliser les égaliseurs paramétriques que je les trouve d'avoir plus de contrôle sur votre son, cette unité ne fournissent une bonne quantité d'options et de nombreuses bandes.

AVIS GLOBAL

J'ai seulement été à l'aide du Moog Music 10 égaliseur graphique pour environ un an. Je suis un grand fan de tous les produits fabriqués par Moog Music, alors j'ai décidé de vérifier cette égalisation et de tout bien Moog n'est pas connu pour leur équipement de traitement du signal, ils ont certainement fait un excellent travail avec cette unité d'ensemble. Bien que je ne le recommanderais pas si vous êtes à la recherche d'un égaliseur simple à utiliser pour votre home studio, il est un excellent ajout à tout studio qui cherchent à étendre leur équipement hors-bord. Le seul problème est que ces sont extrêmement rares et difficiles à trouver et j'ai vraiment eu de la chance. Si vous êtes un fan de Moog et sont aussi un ingénieur du son, le Moog Music 10-Band Graphic Equalizer est un must essayer.
