Publié le 27/07/11 à 15:53Guitare fabriquée en Corée, acajou massif, semi hollow body, manche vissé, touche ébène, deux micros simple, type vintage, selecteur trois positions, chevalet type bigsby, plutot legere et équilibré. Volum et tonalité simple.
UTILISATION
Prise en main facile, manche ni fin ni épais, rapide, action des cordes hautes, touche agréable, acces aux aigus aisé jusqu'ax cases 20. On branche ça sonne, facile a avoir le "bon" son.

AVIS GLOBAL
Je l'ai depuis 3 ans et l'ai utilisé dans plusieurs groupe avec des styles differents ainsi que des amplis differents : d'une grande jouabilité, ( 4h de repete sans avoir mal), toujours typé malgré les amplis ( laney lionheart, hughes and ketner duotone, vox ac15 et orange tiny terror sur ppc 212), son âme ressort vraiment et le son tres typé peu cependant se marier a beaucoup de style. Le look vintage m'a attiré en magasin mais le nom de la marque (presque inconnu en france) m'a refroidi. Une fois rassuré par le vendeur et 1h d'essai je la acheté sur le champs : ça sonne d'enfer, tout de suite, rock n roll! Le prix est plusque que raisonnable et à ce prix la on a une grat qui en jette et qui du caractere. Tres bon rapport qualité prix et je referais ce choix sans hesiter

UTILIZATION
The neck is Maple and it feels pretty good. Definitely more fender-sized neck, rather than the wider Gibson style. I'm able to reach all frets easily, and it's comfortable to hold the guitar. It is very light, moreso than other hollowbodies even.
Dipinto is a cool choice if you're looking for something different. If you want classic tones and a classic look, you should probably look elsewhere. When I first bought this guitar, I was playing in a funk band, and it was perfect for the style of flashy music we played. I've since moved on to folk, rock, alt-country kind of sounds and it stands out quite a bit, but sounds great.
SOUNDS
I've been playing guitar for 20 years and I've owned the Belvedere Deluxe for the last three. It is great for twangy rock, country, rockabilly, or folk. I've never had a problem getting a variety of other sounds for different types of projects. The neck pickup reminds me of a Telecaster, very bright but not thin like a bad tele knock-off.
I play with 12's for strings, so I'm not sure how beefy it would sound if you preferred light strings. My set-up is Belvedere into Boss tuner, Boss Tremelo, Xotic overdrive, MXR Micro Amp, Boss Delay, and a Holy Grail Reverb. After the pedal board, it goes into a hand-built tube amp based on the circuit of a Fender Bassman. The speaker is also hand-built, a 1x15 with a Swamp Thing speaker.
I play both clean and distorted, lead and rhythm. I like the DiPinto most for Twangy rhythm, like Rolling Stones type tunes. It's not as good for beefier rock or punk guitar tones.
OVERALL OPINION
I've had the Belvedere for 3 years, and I really like it's style and sound for funk or Rockabilly. I tried every DiPinto model and like this one best. Great value, you can't really get a decent guitar for 500 bucks new anymore.
I probably would not buy another DiPinto, because I've grown accustomed to the thicker Gibson necks.
