Une Strato US intéressante

<3Lire moins24 - Hatsubai
Huge mojo
Publié le 30/06/11 à 21:43 (contenu en anglais)This guitar is basically trying to replicate that old school '57 mojo. It has an alder body with a maple neck, a maple fretboard with 21 frets, black dot inlays, vintage six screw tremolo system, SSS configuration, standard neck joint, one volume, two tones and a three or five way switch.
UTILIZATION
The neck on this guitar felt pretty awesome. It's a big neck compared to most modern Fenders out there, but I enjoyed it. The frets on this were nice, too. They were properly crowned, and there were no edges sticking out that could potentially cut your hand while moving up and down. The neck joint was nice and tight on this model, and that was a welcomed addition with so many Fenders out there with slightly sloppy neck joints. The radius wasn't my favorite thing in the world, but I usually always hate the Fender radius because it's too round.
SOUNDS
This guitar had the five way switch already installed in it. The pickups themselves are very much a classic type of sound. They had this really cool woody kind of sound going on that was real apparent when you started adding just a touch of gain. I wouldn't use these for metal or even hard rock because they're pretty low output, but it all depends on what kind of setup you like. They definitely can't do metal, though. The cleans on these were glorious, and the overdriven tones were to die for. Think of that classic SRV kind of tone at times. The five way switch is a huge upgrade, too. The in between positions are amazing for funk and cleans.
OVERALL OPINION
The guitar just oozes with mojo. However, be absolutely sure that you like the radius. That was a pretty big deal breaker for me, but considering how great the guitar sounded, I couldn't rate it down too low. Also, the guitar isn't quite as versatile as other guitars in the Fender lineup.00 - iamqman

Publié le 22/07/11 à 08:39 (contenu en anglais)Fender is probably the biggest music company in the world when it comes to amp and guitars. They have been played all over the world from beginner learning guitar players to the best professionals in the world. Any guitar who has ever been playing the guitar longer than a few year most likely have picked up owned a Fender Stratocaster at some point.
My very first guitar was Fender Strat but with the standard three single coil operation. So I am particular to this guitar. I love the soul and tone of a good Fender Stratocaster like I love the air I breath. This is one of these great instruments that take the glory of playing to a whole new level.

Pickup Switching: 3 Position Blade
Bridge: "Original" Vintage Synchronized Tremolo
Unique Features: Nitro-Cellulose Lacquer Finish, "V" Shape, 1-Piece, Tinted, Maple Neck
SOUNDS
The tone from this guitar is very good. This is an extremely versatile guitar with the 5 way selector and three single coils operation. Any old amp will do with this guitar. This guitar will also work for any style of music except most of the drop tuning stuff. You won't be able to get a deep thick fat metal tone from this guitar. Any of you are into that kind of music you already know that. Other than that it will suit most players just fine.
The soul form this guitar is just alluring. This fine instrument is so silky and smooth that is makes you amp sing like it was meant to be together. This guitar will connect with you like no other guitar can and probably ever will. There is a reason why these guitars have been copied the world over and still remain one of the most classic icon on music history.
OVERALL OPINION
AT new these guitars come in right at around $1599. not a bad price for a history in rock i roll. These guitars are such dream machine and full of tone. I would recommend every one to own one of these. This is a little bit different neck profile than the 60's so try and play one fist to get the feel of it if you can.00 - iamqman

This guitar has a bit of a different neck profile than the American ones being built today. In the 60's they changed up the neck and made it more slimmer. This neck has a nice fat girth to it that is responsive and added bulk. It makes for a more rounder tone but only slightly. I prefer the slimmer neck to this one but this is a great guitar as well and no complaints here.

SOUNDS
When it comes to the sound of a Strat there really is no other. I hear guys talk about finding a Strat sounding guitar and look to Suhr and Anderson and completely bypass the sound that started it all. The sound is everyone from Jimmy to John Mayor and in between. The tone from this guitar is very good. It can get beefy with the humbuckers and lighten it up for some single coil action. This is an extremely versatile guitar with the 5 way selector and humbucking and single coil operation.
I play rock music and this guitar is great for my style. I love Charvels and will probably put this guitar down when I get one of those. I prefer humbuckers to the single coils.
OVERALL OPINION
This a guitar that I will have forever. These guitars are no longer available new. They have the same guitar but just in different colors on many retailers websites. If I ever buy another Fender Strat I will have someone take off the lacquer on the back of the neck. I would recommend this guitar to any guitar player. Everyone needs a Fender Strat in their arsenal. A great everyday guitar and a players dream. So many tonal possibilities that will accompany anything musical genre from pop to modern rock.00 - iamqman

Publié le 04/09/11 à 01:07 (contenu en anglais)What can I say about the Fender Stratocaster this and not been said already. It is a standard and classic look that many builders over the time has found influence in their own guitar constructions. There's been so many variants of this guitar. There's been a plethora of builders take influence from this guitar and have compounded on it and actually made it somewhat better in certain circumstances with better exotic woods and features. However, this is a classic look at classic guitar that stands the test of time.

The tone of these guitars is fantastic. if you ever spent time with a Fender Stratocaster then you know exactly what I mean. Has a great warm bluesy tone that cleans up very well and is exceptional guitar for rock 'n roll music. This guitar sounds great and pretty much any genre of music imaginable. I will particularly like the sound of the Fender Stratocaster in the neck pick up. You getting good bluesy tone that doesn't distort very well but has a full bodied almost punching town.
Is guitar sound exceptional with a Fender amp as you would imagine because the guitars and amps are voiced with each other. So if you have a Fender amp of some sort in a nice overdrive pedal than you can get a crate solid sounding rock 'n roll pop blues, country tone. This guitar can go a long way with the Fender amp. Or you can even put it in a hiking amplifier setting and get a great rock 'n roll heavy hard rock tunnel. Guitar will not do a drop tuning very well , but something that isn't a standard tuning or even maybe a drop half step tuning will work with this guitar.
OVERALL OPINION
I highly recommend this guitar and any guitar player out there. It is a staple in rock 'n roll music and it's really a staple in music all together. At new you can find these guitars right around $1200 which is a steal of a price for this guitar. I recommend every single guitar player to own at least one fender Stratocaster in their life time with her career. UTILISATION
