UTILIZATION
What can I say? This is without doubt an incredible axe! Anytime I've played this out, all I usually hear about afterwards from players and non-players alike is how pretty this guitar is. The inlay is ornate, over the top but still classy, and stunningly beautiful! The neck joint is fantastic - I can reach any fret without hindrance. Balance is also great on this guitar - it's about 7 pounds, and it rests on the strap very well, with no neck diving or drooping.
SOUNDS
The pickups, again, are one of my favorite sets. I've reviewed quite a few guitars out there with this pickup combination, and I'm always extremely pleased with the results. The bridge is bold and bright, yet not too aggressive, and the neck is ultra smoooooooooooth. The 5 way Mega switch yields some nice variety, adding the "in between" Strat-style tones that are great for funk, country, or fusion. And of course, the timbre is great for rock and metal when plugged into a screaming stack. This C1 Classic is a guitar that feels at home playing any style of music.
OVERALL OPINION
This guitar is amazing! In all aspects - performance, sound, cosmetics, build quality - this guitar excels. My hands absolutely love the crisp playability of this neck. Its distinctive appearance will definitely get noticed at gigs, and the tone will be spot on. The C1 Classic comes highly recommended from me, especially for the price!
