Am I allowed to transfer the licence to other person?

The answer is Yes for Software Licenses. The only exception is when You have a NFR licence.

NFR and FULL license statuses are permanent. That means the receiver of FULL license will get also FULL license.

When You find a customer for the plug-in You own, just use Licenses -> License Transfer option from main menu at User Area account and follow the instructions.



Sample libraries
You're not allowed to transfer Sample Libraries to another user, License Agreement between D16 Group and final user explicitly forbids it.

Bundles
Bundles are only allowed to be resold or transferred combined.

Transferring all your licenses
If you are about to transfer all your licenses, please remember that you are not supposed to give away the details of your User Area account to a person you are selling your licenses to. You always need to fill out the License Transfer form at User Area and wait till the moment when license transfer is finalized (you'll be notified via email).

Are license transfers allowed?
If you would like to transfer your discoDSP license to another person, you can do so by purchasing a license transfer for a fee of $19. Please note that the license will not be designated as not for resale following the transfer of ownership.

To start the license transfer process, please contact our support team. We will be happy to assist you with the necessary steps to complete the process. Please note that the fee for the license transfer must be paid by the current license owner, and we will handle the payment link via email.

END-USER LICENSE AGREEMENT

This license agreement ("Agreement" or "License") is a legal contract between you ("Licensee" or "Customer") and Hauke Menges for the use of this software product ("Software"). By installing the software you agree to the terms of use which are listed below.
If you do not agree with all terms you are not allowed to install the software.


1. General Grant of License

Hauke Menges grants you - the customer - a non-exclusive license for this software. The agreement gives you certain limited rights to use the product. It does not grant you any ownership or intellectual property rights to the software in part or whole. The software is licensed, not sold.


2. Permitted License Uses and Restrictions

You may install and test the demo version of the software only for evaluation purposes. You acknowledge that the demo version has limitations in functionality and may not be used for commercial purposes.

You may distribute the demo version as long as the following conditions are met:
* This license agreement must accompany the software
* You do not charge any money for the distribution or the software itself. Exceptions can be made with prior written permission from Hauke Menges
* Hacks, cracks, key generators or keys may not be included or referred to by any distributor of the demo version
* The software may only be distributed inside other software packages with prior written permission

You may not reverse engineer, crack, decompile, translate, disassemble, decipher, decrypt, or otherwise attempt to discover the source code of this software. You may not otherwise modify, port, adapt, merge, or alter the software in part or whole (e.g. hide or change any textual or graphical information like logos, copyright, license notes, or labels). Any attempt will result in termination of this license. Criminal and/or civil prosecution may follow.

You may use your single computer usage license on all devices which are your property as long as you are a registered licensee. The software may not run on more than one device at once. If you want to run the software on more devices you have to buy another license.


3. Refunds

Refunds are possible under the following conditions:
* You have tested the demo version of the software before purchasing a license
* Any deficiencies have been reported immediately on recognition and at the latest within 14 days
* In case Hauke Menges cannot fix the issue within seven business days a refund or a reduction in price can be made
* In case of a refund the software has to be removed from all devices


5. License Transfers

Licenses can be resold/transferred after a license has been owned by the current licensee for a minimum of 12 months. Transfer is usually granted within two days after a request has been made via e-mail (see Contact Details). You have to include the name and the e-mail address of the new owner. A transfer without former request is not possible.


6. Other Licenses and Trademarks

The licenses of other parts of this software - especially Open Source components - can be found in the folder "licenses" of this package.


7. Limitation of Liability

You are aware that it is not possible to develop software in such a way that it is error-free for all application conditions and all customer requirements. Conflicts with third-party software and hardware may arise.

The software is provided to you "as is" without warranty of any kind, express or implied. The author does not guarantee that the software will meet your personal requirements or that any errors will be corrected in the future. The author is not responsible for misuse or misinterpration of the software and its documentation.

The author will not be liable for data loss, damages, business interruptions, loss of profits, or any other kind of loss when using the software unless it can be proven that the author acted with intent or gross negligence.
You understand that you have to create regular backups of your data to prevent damage and loss. Only in the presence of corresponding backups the author can be held liable for damages that happened because of data loss.

In any case the author's liability is limited to three times the amount paid for the license fee.


8. Validity

Should one or more of the conditions in this agreement be or become invalid, this will not affect the validity of the remaining agreement. A substitute which comes closest to the intended purpose will replace the invalid condition.
This agreement is subject to the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany. The courts in Dresden, Germany have exclusive jurisdiction for all disputes arising in connection with this license or its validity.

As long as your product isn’t listed as “NFR”: In your account, click on the View Instrument button for the product that you’d like to transfer. You can transfer it to another registered GForce user using the box on the right-hand side. Or at the bottom on mobile browsers. The recipient’s licence is marked as NFR and cannot be transferred again.

Plugin License transfer

How can I transfer a license of a plugin to another hornet account?
In order to transfer the ownership of one or more of your HoRNet plugins to another HoRNet account, the original owner of the license must contact HoRNet by submitting a support request
In the support request do not forget to include:
- the plugin licenses you want to transfer
- the email of the recipient. The email of the recipient must be associated with a valid HoRNet account

14) Is it possible to resell KarmaFX Synth Modular once you have purchased it?
No, currently the license is "non-transferable", i.e., you cannot resell the product once it has been purchased. The reasons for this are mostly technical, since the name of the registered user is burned into the synth so to speak. You can read the full software license agreement here. Software License Agreement

1. Grant of License and Copyright: KarmaFX grants you, the original purchaser, the non-exclusive and non-transferable license to use the program and data files constituting this software and the upgrade programs(s) and the data file(s) which may be distributed to you from time to time (herinafter called the “Software”) on up to two computers which are under your control. You are allowed to use the Software royalty-free for music and sound production, recordings and/or performances. The ownership of the rights to and the copyright of the Software (whether supplied via a CD, diskette, download via the internet or otherwise) belong to KarmaFX. KarmaFX reserves the right to make modifications to the Software and to any support services without prior notification.

2. Restrictions: The Software contains copyrighted information. For the purpose of protecting such copyrights, you may not sell, sublicense, rent, lease, convey, distribute, copy, modify, translate, reverse engineer, convert to another programming language, decompile, or disassemble the Software for any purpose, or make derivative works based on what is contained in the Software. The Software is Registered in your name and may only be used by you personally. You may make a reasonable number of backup copies of the Software for your own personal use only. You may not transfer the Registered Software to another computer through a network or to another party by any means. As a condition to use the Software, you agree that you must not use the Software to infringe the intellectual property or other rights of others, in any way. The unauthorized reproduction, distribution, modification, public display, communication to the public or public performance of copyrighted works is an infringement of copyright.

3. Termination: This agreement takes effect on the date you have received the Software. The license granted in this agreement will terminate automatically without notice from KarmaFX in the event that you breach any provision of this agreement or in any way infringe KarmaFX’s copyright in the Software. In such event you must destroy the Software and all backup copies immediately.

4. Disclaimer: The Software is provided as-is, and KarmaFX disclaims any warranty or liability obligations to you of any kind. KarmaFX disclaims all warranties relating to the Software, whether express or implied, including but not limited to any implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, and all such warranties are expressly and specifically disclaimed. KarmaFX shall not be liable for any indirect, consequential or incidental damages arising out of the use or inability to use the Software even if KarmaFX has been advised of the possibility of such damages or claims. The user of the Software bears all risk as to the quality and performance of the Software. KarmaFX will not be liable in any way for any allegations or findings of infringement of copyright or other proprietary rights as a result of your use of the Software.

Q: Are the license transferrable?
A: No. This is still a common practice for most sample-based products. We don’t pretend to allow it and then charge you an extra transfer fee that is prohibitively high, nor do we delay the transfer request to make it as hard or slow as possible. We just tell you upfront that we don’t allow it. We hope you appreciate our honesty.

Can I transfer the license to new owner?

No, our software products cannot be transferred. Only the registered user has the right to use the product.

Can I transfer the license to my friend?

No, our software products cannot be transferred. Only the registered user has the right to use the product.

Can I transfer my Krotos license to another user?

Owners of iLok licensed products can now transfer their licenses to another user through iLok License Manager.

To transfer a license, log into iLok License Manager and select the license you wish to transfer. Click the Transfer icon on the top bar or in the Detailed View window, shown below.



You will be prompted to enter the information of the new user, and a transfer request will be sent to us for approval once submitted.

We are unable to transfer account or order information at this time. The new user may need to contact us for access to the latest installers.

Please note we do not offer license transfers for non-iLok products such as Simple Concept and Concept 2.

The short answer is yes.

Libre Wave software is released under the GNU GPL giving you the freedom to resell and distribute your copy of the software or modified versions if you make any. The audio files/samples are released under a non-commercial license so technically you can’t sell these. However you may give them to another individual. The non-commercial clause is included to prevent commercial mass redistribution of the unmodified audio files.

If you’d like to transfer a product entirely from your Libre Wave account to another user, including download links and future updates, please provide me with their name and email address, and specify the product you are transferring. I’ll set up a Libre Wave account for the new user if they don’t already have one and transfer the product from your account to theirs.

What Is Your License Transfer Policy?

There is no License Fee for the software to be transferred to a new owner. Here's how it works...

The original owner must contact us and request the license transfer from his/her account to another account.

We need the Serial Number (Product Activation Code) of the software to be transferred, and the Full Name and Email address of the new owner.

NOTE:

If the original user received an iLok authorization, the iLok authorization 'CANNOT' be transferred to a new user because Nomad Factory no longer supports PACE AP or iLok protection systems. This means, if you buy a used iLok, you will not be able to use its licenses to activate Nomad Factory Plug-ins on your computer.

If you want to buy Nomad Factory software, we strongly recommend purchasing it directly from our website where you can download the latest versions of all of our products and receive a legitimate new serial number directly from the company.

We think license transfer fees depend greatly on the type of copy protection involved. Each company doing things differently it makes it difficult for a user to compare them and evaluate what is fair or not. Here are some points to consider:

*The Plogue binary license file that you acquire when buying any of our products contains your name address, email and phone number... not exactly the kind of stuff that you want to give to other people (in fact that's the point of this protection). So it can't just be resold as is.

*We don't use challenge responses, intrusive 'service' software, or buggy dongle/drivers of any kind which ties your hands to a particular machine. Instead, you can install our products on ANY NUMBER of your OWN systems, mix and match Macs and PCs, wipe them clean, ghost the machines, reinstall, and always use the same key.

Since we don't keep any knowledge on where you installed your license, we can't remotely de-authorize them. So no automatic third party solution to exchange licenses is possible, we have to do it ourselves.

We need to take the time, and deal with both parties involved, generate a key for the new user, and invalidate the previous key only in _subsequent_ software updates.

There are advantage and disadvantages to any form of CP. We are taking calculated financial risks with our method. That why we charge some minimal fee to transfer license which is 20 USD per product.

Once the license has been transferred, it cannot be transferred again. (yes... it happened) It becomes essentially an NFR (Not for Resale) product.

Once a user has transferred their license, they can still purchase another one. But they won't be allowed to transfer that license again.

We are not here to screw off anyone, but if we allow license transfers for free, since we can't prove the old user has uninstalled the version of bidule (or chipsounds) that was still _working_, there no additional sale that gets our way. You tell us how that makes it any different than having an illicit copy of our app.

We think we are being reasonable, considering all the aspects of the trade.

1. LICENSE TERMS

A. Permitted Uses: You may,

I. Store Files on Storage Media (like CD ROM) for a, single, personal back up;
II. Use the Files to create your own larger musical composition(s);
III. Use the larger musical composition(s), that you create, for either profit or non-profit.

I. Distribute the Files or sublicense, transfer, or assign the rights of the Files;
II. Reverse engineer any part of the Files;

The software is provided to the user "as is". Rob Papen and RPCX makes no warranties, either express or implied, with respect to the software and associated materials provided to the user, including but not limited to any warranty of fitness for a particular purpose.

Rob Papen and RPCX does not warrant that the functions contained in the software will meet your requirements, or that the operation of the software will be uninterrupted or error-free, or that defects in the software will be corrected.

Rob Papen and RPCX does not warrant or make any representations regarding the use or the results of the use of the software or any documentation provided therewith in terms of their correctness, accuracy, reliability, or otherwise. The user is not allowed to distribute the program. Further, the user may not modify, the user may not decompile and the user may not debug the software.
Sounds provided within the Rob Papen and RPCX software are also licensed to the user "as is" with the same terms and the additional term that the user may not copy or sample sounds for soundset distribution use.

This letter of authorization is applicable to all versions of Whisper of Loong. Whisper of Loong is a subordinate brand owned by TBTECH CO., LTD. (TBTECH in short) under independent development and operation. TBTECH reserves its rights of final interpretation of the letter of authorization.

On acquiring permission for authorization

The product serial number released by TBTECH is the only proof of purchase of Whisper of Loong; binary files acquired from other sources are not approved as proof of purchase. Regardless of the case if you lose your serial number，authorization will be suspended. TBTECH will not have any responsibility of your loss.

Use of software under authorization

On the basis of complying with this letter of authorization, you can apply this software and supporting audio samples to commercial or non-commercial music production and publication.
All samples / files are the property of TBTECH, and are therefore licensed to only to the purchaser who purchased this product from TBTECH or authorized TBTECH dealers only, for use as part of a live or recorded musical performance or for use in audio and audio - visual post productions.
You have the ownership of your music production from this software, and undertake relevant legal obligations independently.

Restrictions and limitations

You may not rent, sell, pledge or issue sub-licenses of this software and related commercial licenses. Redevelopment on Whisper of Loong in whole or part into derivative products, modified versions or third party versions is prohibited. You do not have ownership of audio samples, images and other binary files contained in the related supporting software, and have no right to distribute these materials in any way. Upon failure to comply with the terms in this agreement, authorization will be terminated and all permits will be withdrawn, and you will bear all responding legal liabilities.

Selling or giving away samples for use by others in the form of sampling or for sample playback units or computers is strictly prohibited.

Selling this product to a third party person is prohibited. Buying this product from a third party person is also prohibited. TBTECH DOES NOT accept any registrations for a used / resold product. Users who purchased this product from a third party person are not entitled to get any support from TBTECH.

Posting these sounds electronically without written permission from TBTECH is prohibited. The sound samples contained within cannot be used in any library / encyclopedia or similar media format created for CD-Audio, CD-ROM, DVD-Audio, or DVD-ROM type products, including future mechanical media formats, without written permission from TBTECH. By clicking on the 'I Accept' button, installing, copying or otherwise using the Software, You agree to be bound by the terms of this License Agreement. The terms also apply to any Software updates, supplements, and support services provided by WS. If You do not agree to the terms of this License Agreement, click on the 'I Do Not Accept' button and/or do not install or use the Software.

1. Definitions. 'WS' means WAVESEQUENCER SOFTWARE / Paul Carter and any third party licensor of software bundled with WS products. 'Software' means (a) Hyperion Synthesizer and all supplements or upgrades, and (b) any third party software or sound libraries bundled with a WS product and all supplements and upgrades thereof. 'You' means the end user of the Software and, if the end user is an entity, all of its employees, agents and independent contractors.

2. License. You are granted the following personal, nonexclusive, nontransferable, limited license:

(a) YOU MAY: (1) use the Software on a maximum of two computers; (2) physically transfer the Software from one device to another provided that (i) the Software is used on no more than two devices at a time and that You remove any copies of the Software from the device(s) from which the Software is being transferred, and (ii) the transfer is not for the purpose of sharing this license between devices; and (3) install another copy of the Software in the event that the first Software installation is unusable.

(b) YOU MAY NOT: (a) distribute copies of the Software or the documentation to others; (b) modify, rent, lease or grant sublicenses or other rights to the Software; (c) use the Software in a computer service business, network, time-sharing, multiple CPU or multiple user arrangement without the prior written consent of WS; (d) work around any technical limitations in the Software; (e) make more copies of the Software than permitted by this agreement; (f) publish the Software for others to copy, or (g) reverse engineer, disassemble, compile, modify, translate, or otherwise alter the Software in whole or in part.

2. Title to Intellectual Property. The Software is licensed to You, not sold. WS retains title and ownership of the Software and documentation, including all intellectual property and usage rights. ALL RIGHTS NOT EXPRESSLY GRANTED HEREIN ARE RESERVED TO WS.

3. Limited Warranty. WS warrants that the media on which the Software is furnished will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use for a period of ninety days from the date of purchase or, in the case of supplements or upgrades, delivery. If a defect appears during the warranty period, return the medium containing the Software to WS, and You will receive a free replacement. This Limited Warranty is void if failure of the Software has resulted from accident, abuse, or misapplication. Any replacement Software will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period. The foregoing is Your sole and exclusive remedy for breach of warranty. THIS WARRANTY GIVES YOU SPECIFIC LEGAL RIGHTS AND YOU MAY ALSO HAVE OTHER RIGHTS THAT VARY BY JURISDICTION.

4. Exclusions From Warranty. This warranty does not cover problems caused by Your acts (or failures to act), the acts of others, or events beyond WS's reasonable control.

5. No Other Warranties. The limited warranty set forth above is the only warranty provided by WS. WS DOES NOT WARRANT THAT THE SOFTWARE WILL MEET YOUR REQUIREMENTS OR IS ERROR FREE. WS DISCLAIMS ALL OTHER WARRANTIES, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO IMPLIED WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AND NON-INFRINGEMENT OF THIRD PARTY RIGHTS WITH RESPECT TO THE SOFTWARE. If Your local laws give You any implied warranties, guarantees or conditions, despite this exclusion, Your remedies are described in the Limited Warranty clause above, to the extent permitted by Your local laws.

6. Limitation of Liability. IN NO EVENT SHALL WS BE LIABLE TO YOU FOR ANY LOST PROFITS, CONSEQUENTIAL, SPECIAL, INCIDENTAL OR INDIRECT DAMAGES OF ANY KIND ARISING OUT OF THE USE OF THE SOFTWARE, EVEN IF WS HAS BEEN ADVISED OF THE POSSIBILITY OF SUCH DAMAGES. WS'S LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM, LOSSES, DAMAGES OR INJURY, WHETHER CAUSED BY BREACH OF CONTRACT, TORT OR ANY OTHER THEORY OF LIABILITY, SHALL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE SOFTWARE. SOME JURISDICTIONS DO NOT ALLOW THE EXCLUSION OF IMPLIED WARRANTIES OR INCIDENTAL OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES, SO THE ABOVE LIMITATION OR EXCLUSIONS MAY NOT APPLY TO YOU.

7. Term. This Agreement is effective until terminated. You may terminate this Agreement at any time by uninstalling the Software together with destroying all copies of the Software in any form. This Agreement, including the license to use the Software, will terminate automatically if You fail to comply with any of its terms or conditions.

8. Upgrades and Supplements. WS may, at its discretion, release upgrades or supplements to the Software. WS has no obligation to offer upgrades or supplements to any end user of the Software.

9. Export. You shall comply with all laws, regulations, rules and requirements relating to the import, export, or re-export of the Software, documentation or any other items subject to this Agreement (including, but not limited to, the requirements under the U.S. Export Administration Act, Regulations of the Department of Commerce or its successors, executive orders, and other export controls of the United States of America). You shall not export or re-export, or authorize or permit the export or re-export of, any such items to any country to which export or re-export of the Software is prohibited without first obtaining the permission of the United States Department of Commerce, Bureau of Export Administration or its successor.

10. Assignment, Successors. No right or license under this Agreement may be assigned or transferred by You, nor may any duty be delegated by You without Licensor's prior written consent. Any assignment, transfer or delegation in contradiction of this provision shall be null and void. Subject to the foregoing, this Agreement will bind and inure to the benefit of the successors and assigns of You and WS.

11. Governing Law and Severability. This Agreement will be governed by the laws of the State of California and will be interpreted as if the agreement were made between California residents and performed entirely within California. For purposes of this Agreement, the United Nations Convention on the International Sale of Goods shall not be considered as a part of the law of the State of California and shall not be applicable to this Agreement. If for any reason a court finds any provision of this License unenforceable, that provision will be enforced to the maximum extent possible, and the remainder of the License shall continue in full force and effect.

12. Entire Agreement. This is the entire agreement between You and WS and supersedes any prior agreement, whether written or oral, relating to the subject matter of this Agreement. No amendment or modification of this agreement will be binding unless in writing and signed by a duly authorized representative of WS.
