I bought several music VSL where this USB stick becomes mandatory. I can understand that software vendor want to avoid losing money with pirate or illegal duplicate but:
1/ this thing is crap: it’s full of bugs and install hardly properly on Windows.
2/ since you need it to work to use VSLsoftware, if you’re like me unable to make it working then you’re stuck with money spent on expensive VSL (more than 1000 euros) and can’t use it
3/ If you install it, and for any reason need to uninstall the crappy software provide with the USB stick (as it add lots of registry keys, services… that pollute Windows) then it’s just not working and Windows nor any external conventional uninstaller can’t find a proper way to do it.
