1 Difficultés pour installer les pianos XLR sur NS EX compact

En heureux possesseur du NS EX compact que je suis, j'ai bien évidemment voulu tester les nouveaux pianos proposés par Clavia récemment. Hors il se trouve que les téléchargements vers le clavier du "ConcertGrand1XLR Stw D  Clos 4.0" et du "StudioGrand2 XLR YaC7   Clos 4.0" plantent lamentablement à chacun de mes essais.

Après des nettoyages successifs  et même plusieurs formatages complets lancés à partir du Nord Sound Manager (y compris des sections Program et Synth), toujours rien à faire.

Aucun problème en revanche pour TOUS les autres samples, du plus ancien au plus récent (y compris le "BlueSwede XLR LargeUpright 4.0").

Quelqu'un a-t-il déjà rencontré ce problème ?

As-tu bien installé le dernier OS sur ton NSEX ? Car c'est lui qui permet de gérer la résonance , alors il y a peut-etre un lien de cause à effet...

Vacances obligent, j'ai déserté le forum. Je poste à nouveau pour apporter un épilogue au problème rencontré en juillet sur mon Stage Ex.

En fait, ce n'était pas une question d'installation de l'OS, mais bien l'OS lui même qui était défaillant. Clavia vient de procéder à une mise à jour réglant le problème, apparemment rencontré par d'autres utilisateurs également.

J'en profite pour préciser que j'ai eu droit à plusieurs mails de leur service technique en réponse à mes demandes d'aide : très pro. Il ne leur a pas fallu longtemps pour diffuser un patch. Bref, on se sent 'considéré' et ça fait plaisir :-)

The update of the Nord Stage EX OS to version 5.12 fixes the unfortunate “Neverending Download” issue. This caused some users problems when they tried to install the new XLR pianos that we released in early July. The bug itself was triggered by an elusive timing issue between the Stage EX and the Sound Manager. Thanks to everyone who reported this and helped us to finally fix it, and sincere apologies to everyone that ran into problems. The Nord Stage EX OS v5.12 adds several new exciting features, such as:
• String Resonance – this feature can together with a selection of new acoustic piano sounds recreate the wonderful acoustic phenomenon that occurs inside the body of a piano.
• Piano Unison – will slightly detune the piano. Use this to to create really great honky-tonk pianos.
• The Extern Section has been augmented with a new MIDI Mode selection - Global or Program.
• Another addition to the Extern section is the possibility to use a complete Bank Select procedure with both CC00 and CC32 values.
• A bug in the Farfisa organ where certain selections could cause it to clip has been fixed.
• The Clavinet is now displayed as one file/unit in the Manager, instead of four and will be shown as A. B. C and D in the Type LED on the unit.
