Essentially the SM-01 consists of multiple Minimoog clones with some upgrades.
The Minimoog Oscillators - ( the first and best version) however, upgraded with a precision -5v reference voltage, some military spec ceradip transistor arrays and precision dual JFETs in the exponential convertors, plus upgraded precision OP07 opamps.
The Minimoog filters and vca - feature a change in the resonance circuit to enable polyphonic control, but otherwise pretty much identical.
The smiley features;
12 oscillators - 2 lots of 6.
1 lfo - sine, square and saw, level assignable to oscillators 1, 2, and filter.
No split or layer, 6 voice true polyphony.
No patch memory.
No unison, however could be activated by altering the programming of the internal midi to cv convertor.
Midi in
Full analog. Fully discrete oscillators, vca and filters.
One output, no ins.
