Ampli transistor avec une petite lampe qd mm..., la puissance délivrée correspond totalement à ce que je fais du punkrock.le lead et génial facil a régler et franchement ca sonne...pr le prix!
Les réglages sont simple pour les effets ils sont aussi de bonne qualité mm si je ne les utilise pas, pareil je jou quasi jamais en clean mais jle trouve propre..clean koi(pti marrant)!!

je joue avec une Ibanez rg606 équipée en emg ca sonne, une yamaha sgv800 la ce sont des P90 et pareil le son est propre,une strat de 79 avec des simple d origine et pareil le clean et nikel et je trouve facile à régler en y ajoutant mm un petit tremolo a l ancienne genre shadow.

Je l ai depuis octobre 2006, il a en plus une super gueule je trouve ca ve gache rien, perso g un baffle marshall c un choix et ca se marie très bien!j'ai essayer un modele de chez berringer, un autre de chez line6, un autre de chez HARTKE et je dois dire q je ne regrette ps mon choix pour le faible prix, en repet com en concert j'ai le son jusqu'a ce q je puis investir ds un MESA héhé!

Le grain des micros étant respecté, les différences sont grandes entre ces guitares et elles restent grandes à l'écoute de cet ampli.

(contenu en anglais)Hughes and Kettner have some of the best sounding amplifiers on the planet. This a German company who designs high quality guitar amps for touring musicians and the average consumer. They guitar amps that range from just a few hundred dollars to several thousand.
Some big names have pickup amps from Hughes and Kettner including Alex Lifeson from the band Rush and Tommy Thayer from the band Kiss. Those two gentlemen have their own signature models but they have used been great artist for this company.
This amp is a solid state amp that has four channels. With a host of effects built right into the amp. You get s plethora of tonal options with this amp.

SOUNDS
There is a lot to this amp even though it may be a small solid state amp. There is four channels that all sound very good for this kind of amp. Each one gets you to where is claims to be. The clean is nice and sparkly. The crunch is very crunchy and gets you AC/Dc all day long. This is great classic rock voiced channel. Next you have a lead channel that is just about all the gain you can handle and then it takes it up another notch. The four and final channel is called warp and though a strange name but it gets warping.
This amp takes any guitar well. You play anything with this amp and get a decent tone. With most Hughes and Kettner amps I like to play them with a good guitar with a humbucker style pickup installed. The highlight the gain very well in their amps and god humbucker sits nice with their voicings.
OVERALL OPINION
These amps have long been discontinued. So the use market is the only way to go with these amps now a days. They can be found pretty cheap in the classifieds and ebay. If you need a decent solid state amp that you can play at home silently with the headphone hook up or an amp that has an MP3 hook up then this is good one.
