A lot of our instruments draw inspiration from classic cars, muscle cars, racing cars, hyper cars, concept cars… Needless to mention the role of the Kustom Kulture in supporting and fostering our creativity. Color, shapes, lines, materials, customizations are inexhaustible sources of inspiration for the team and it appears obvious to launch a brand new line of instruments… A brand new line of instruments that we’ve naturally called “AUTOMOTIVE by Wild Customs”

FORD MUSTANG GT 390 FASTBACK “BULLITT”

We’ve based our guitar design on this iconic muscle car featured in “Bullitt”. “Bullitt” is a 1968 American drama-thriller film directed by Peter Yates. It stars the Steve McQueen and it is also notable for its car chase scene through the streets of San Fransisco, regarded as one of the most influential in movie history. Steve McQueen drove a Highland Green 1968 Mustang GT 390 fastback. As a result of that and other Hollywood movies the car “enjoyed celebrity status in the 1960s.”
