avec les nouveaux problémes:
    after the firmware update, the MIDI I/O ports 1 and 2 will be
    swapped, i.e. if you playback via MIDI port 1 in your MIDI software,
    the signal is sent out through MIDI port 2 of the hardware
    - the maximum sample and bitrate under Mac OS X is 24bit/96kHz
    - you cannot update the firmware of QuataFire 610 under Mac OS X, this
    needs to be done on a Windows XP system

Ouais ben pas cool ces nouveau driver ...
je télécharge, j'installe.... problème, ça a pas marché :oo:
ça plante complétement plus utilisable :oo:
je désinstalle tout, réinstalle les vieux drivers, qui eux marchaient, ça merde encor, plus utilisable la p'tte bête :furieux:
au secour, j'en ai besoin moi ...

Moi j' ai eu aucun souci en faisant:
    The installation of this update is devided into two sections. First
    you need to update the firmware of your QuataFire 610 device. The
    firmware is stored in the hardware itself and the update provides more
    features - for example the new firmware allows you to use QuataFire
    610 on a Mactinosh system running Mac OS X 10.3.4 or higher.

    Note: updating the firmware is only required once for every QuataFire
    610 unit. If you have updated the firmware already, skip the A)
    section below and go directly to B) as users of Windows XP need to
    install the new driver after the firmware has been updated to the
    latest version. Users of Mac OS X can go to C) after the firmware has
    been updated.

    Note: Make sure to unzip the driver update file including the
    subdirectories.

    A) Please follow these steps to update the firmware:

    1. make sure QuataFire 610 is connected to your system and turned on
    2. launch "QF_Update_12.exe" from the "FirmwareUpdate" directory
    3. on some systems, the "New Hardware Wizard" will now appear to
    install a device called "1394 Virtual Device". Please follow the
    instructions on screen to install this device
    4. click on "Update Firmware" in the firmware update utility
    5. the update itself may take several minutes. Just wait until the
    update is finished. The Power LED of QuataFire 610 will change its
    color several times during the update. Do not disconnect or turn
    off the unit during this process or you might damage your QuataFire
    610 hardware. We recommend to use an external power adaptor for
    your notebook if you are using QuataFire 610 on a portable computer
    during the update.
    6. Once the update is completed, Windows will detect QuataFire 610
    again as new hardware. Just ignore the messages and cancel the
    installation of these devices.

    B) Please follow these steps to update the Windows XP driver:

    1. turn off QuataFire 610
    2. launch "Setup.exe" from the "Driver_115_5(2004-06-30)" directory
    3. follow the instructions on screen - during the installation, you
    will be asked to turn on again the power of QuataFire 610; then
    the drivers will be updated
    4. we recommend to reboot manually after the driver update is complete

En 5 min c' était fait pas de probléme...N' oublie de reparamétrer les sons de windows car il se mets automatiquement sur le spdif! Voila normalement tt roule et magie les faders pour de la surface de controle fonctionnent!!

Ouais ben c'est bon j'ai recommencé et c'et bon :D:
le problème venait de la partie A): j'ai fait exactement la même chose les deux fois, la première a foiré, la deuxième c'est bon :oo:
aahhh les joies de l'informatique :clin:

Pas de problème chez moi pour l'intallation...

Par contre, le mixer semble effectivement plus complet mais reste tout de même de la pure déco?!!?!?!!!

Qu'en est il pour vous?

Concernant je Monitoring Direct, rien n'a changé, toujours inexistant!!!!????!!!!

Même question...

Je constate n'éanmoins que la charge du processeur a diminué dans Cabase par rapport à l'ancienne version, ce qui est toujours un plus pour faire tourner des vst...

Dites-moi ce qu'il en est pour vous...

Chez moi aussi le mixer est très beau et très inutile :oo:
Bon sinon j'ai un problème :
plus moyen de faire sotir du son par les sortie analogiques, seulement par la sortie casque ???
j'ai plus moyen de chsoisir "quatafire output 5/6", y'a plus :oo: ,
maintenant y'a plus que " quatafire output 8ch " ou un truc comme ça ...
Bizarre bizarre ....

tant pis :(

Salut,
moi je viens d'acheter la carte.Le driver fourni est la version 1.15 (visiblement celle qui necessite win xp pro).J'ai la version familiale de xp(en lecture audio c'est comme pour MatthieuKum on ne me propose que quatafire output 8ch au lieu de toutes les sorties disponibles),est-ce que ça veut dire que j'ai interet à telecharger un driver plus ancien sur le site d'esi?

Je suis en édition xp familiale , (tout fonctionne parfaitement, sauf le mixer qui sert d'élément purement décoratif :mdr: , monitoring direct inexistant :furieux: , et ne garde même pas en mémoire le temps de latence :mdr: ...)
si j'ai bien compris je n'ai pas intétrêt a changer pour les nouveaux drivers je ne serais pas mieu loti ?
