Citation : This 1960 Les Paul Standard has all the elements that have made the "Burst" one of the most highly prized guitar models ever made - starting with a stunning tiger-striped top with only a hint of fade in the cherry sunburst finish. Although the guitar dates to 1960, the neck still retains the thicker, more desirable 1959 dimensions.
This guitar (inv. #EB5770) is in exceptionally fine condition. With original hard case it is offered at $275,000.
This first-year-of-issue Fender Stratocaster looks almost identical to today's Stratocaster for the simple reason that Fender got it right the first time. The Strat was - and still is - the ultimate combination of aesthetics and functionality in electric guitar design with the Stratocaster.
This guitar (inv. #EF7032) has a neck date of 5-54 and a body date of 6-54. The knobs have been replaced, as has the tremolo cover backplate. In VG+ condition with hard case, it is offered at $40,000
