Grey Matter E! compatible extension card for DX7IID / FD along with a copy of the original E! Manual, Grey Matter E! Supplement, installation instructions and a CDROM with more than 200.000 patches and all and everything I found on Internet about DX7II over many-many years.

This very rare extension card will change your old classic DX7II D or DX7II FD into a modern full featured MIDI master keyboard, and a modern synth:

-          4 times more internal memory

-          play 8 voices at the same time

-          adds a full featured 16 track sequencer (arpeggios, patterns, chords, song record, edit, quantize etc.)

-          controls all 16 MIDI channels

 The E! card enlarges the internal RAM memory of the DX by four times and allows it to hold 256 single sounds (called Voices) and 128 Performance memories (multi-voice combinations). The total internal memory is divided into 4 Banks. Each Bank holds 64 Voices and 32 Performances (the total internal memory of a non-E! DX7II). Voices from all four banks can be combined into any of the Performance memories, meaning you're not limited to voices found in just one Bank when creating a Performance Combination.

In the Octal mode you can play up to 8 internal DX voices from any of the 4 internal banks at the same time. When you combine these voices with E!’s amazing E!ngine and SE!quencer , you’ve got an entire MIDI studio right in your DX!

The ENGINE is the heart of the entire E! system. As a 16 track event processor, ENGINE lets you control all data that is coming in and going out of the DX. With its 8 Performance modes, like Chords and Player, you can play 16 track arpeggios, ostinato patterns, and multi-timbral chords, all triggered by hitting one key.  Every ENGINE parameter is fully programmable. All parameters in any moment are grouped in a setup that can be saved in any of the 128 E! Performances

The SE!quencer is just like a 16 track tape recorder. You can record, playback, ad even edit, for both the DX and any of 16 MIDI channels. Now you can record and play 16 track Patterns and Songs with advanced capabilities like step editing, quantization and tempo record.
