Sortira le 19 décembre!!
Peak v1.2 Features include:
New wavetables
43 new wavetables have been added to the Oscillator Wave menus.
Additional modulators
Peak 1.2 adds two freely assignable, non-voice-specific LFOs (bringing the total to four) to the Mod Matrix and new FX Matrix. Pitch-Bend is now also available as a modulation source, with Up (BendWhl+) and Down (BendWhl-) assignable as separate signals if required.
New Mod Matrix design
Sources and destinations are presented on the same page – no more toggling between them to make and edit assignments. And as a knock-on benefit, the Page button now enables quick access to all 16 modulation slots.
FX Mod Matrix
You can now route non-voice-specific modulation sources to Peak’s FX parameters in the new four-slot FX Mod Matrix. Now you can, for example, expand and contract a reverb with a rhythmic LFO, or automate delay time changes using an envelope.
New envelope features
ADSRs sees the addition of a Hold stage (up to 500ms) and the ability to loop between the Attack and Decay stages. For many, this game-changing improvement alone will be reason enough to upgrade.
Initialise Manual Mode
Peak 1.2 gives you the option of maintaining the current positions of all knobs and sliders when the Initialise button is pressed, rather than resetting their parameters to defaults – ideal for getting instantly hands-on with new patches, and creating random ones from scratch. The previous behaviour can be reinstated in the Settings menu, of course, for those who prefer it.
Microtuning
Peak 1.2 also adds support for microtuning. 16 Tuning Tables can be edited and saved for recall within any patch, and automatic note selection makes MIDI note-to-pitch assignment a snap.
New presets
Available in Components, new Soundpacks from Patricia Wolf and GForce Software showcasing the new features of Firmware 1.2, as well as the sonic power and versatility of Peak in general.
Availability
Peak’s 1.2 firmware update will be available from the 19th December 2018 as a free download in the Components content manager linked to your Novation account.

How do I update the standalone version of Components?
If difficulties are still occurring with this, we can look to manually install the update. For this process, I have attached the necessary files but the following steps will walk through how to perform this:
1. Ensure the USB cable from Peak is connected to the computer. Set Peak in Bootloader
mode but pressing the 3 buttons on the left side of the screen while powering-on the Peak.
2. Install MIDI-OX from http://www.midiox.com/
3. Open MIDI-OX, click on the “Options” menu and select “MIDI Devices”. In the MIDI
Outputs section click on “Peak Bootloader” so that it is highlighted blue and appears in the
"Port Mapping". Click OK to close this Window.
4. Drag the “PolyDesk-352.syx” file into the main window. The “Sysex View and Scratchpad”
window will appear. In this window go to “Command Window” and then select “Send
Sysex”.
Peak will display the “% Received” of the firmware (WARNING the firmware update may not
be finished when 100% is displayed – please check for the bar to complete in MIDI-OX to
confirm). This may take 5-10 minutes to complete. The Peak will restart in Normal mode
once the Firmware update is completed. Do not turn off the computer or Peak or disconnect
the USB cable
5. Once the above is completed close the “Sysex View and Scratchpad” window, and go to
“Options” menu and select “MIDI Devices”. In the MIDI Outputs section click on “Peak” so
that it is highlighted blue and appears in the "Port Mapping". Click OK to close this Window.
Drag the “PeakFpga_353.syx” file into the main window. The “Sysex View and Scratchpad”
window will appear. In this window go to “Command Window” and then select “Send Sysex”
to send the FPGA to the Peak while the unit is in normal Mode. This bit can take 15-20
minutes to complete.
Peak will display the “Fpga Block” as the FPGA gets updated.
6. Once the above is completed, turn the volume dial fully anti-clockwise and disconnect any
audio/MIDI cables from the back of the Peak. Go the Settings. In the 2nd System page, launch
“Calibrate” to initiate the calibration of the unit. This may take 5 minutes to complete.
7. These instructions will only update the firmware and FPGA; you will need to load the new
Peak 1.2 presets onto the Peak from Components if desired.

Merci, je me suis connecté ainsi. J'ai 2 banques: Patrice Wolf (une cinquantaine de presets) et GForce (128). C'est la Gforce?
