Salut à tous,

Je rencontre un problème de taille, mon minitaur refuse de s'allumer. Pourtant il est quasi neuf, a toujours très bien marché. Lorsque je le branche je vois qu'il est quand même allumé puisque les boutons sont éclairés, mais très peu.

J'ai aucune idée d'où cela peut venir. Peut être du firmware?

En USB, est-il est détecté par ton ordi ?
Si oui, essayes peut-être une mise à jour de firmware, autrement je penses qu'il va devoir partir en SAV ...

Oui je vais tenter le firmware... Il y a une procédure particulière? Je ne trouve rien dans le manuel

Il devrait y avoir un fichier d'instruction avec le firmware.

Exemple :

Updating Minitaur Firmware w/ Mac (OSX)

This distribution contains firmware version 2.1.1.

Before you begin - you will need an application to send MIDI SysEx messages from your Mac to your Minitaur.
One such program is included in this folder (SysExLibrarian.dmg), if needed.

Install SysEx Librarian and then proceed with the following steps:

1) With your Minitaur powered off, connect the Minitaur to your Mac with a USB cable.

2) Power up the Minitaur while holding down the VCO 1 and 2 Waveform switches.

3) While still holding down the VCO1 and VCO2 Waveform switches, press the Release switch. Now you can release all three panel switches.
-The Glide switch should be blinking slowly, indicating you're in Boot Loader mode.

4) Open SysEx Librarian
.

5) Click the 'Destination' pull-down menu and select Moog Minitaur as your Destination.

6) Drag and drop the two .syx files into the SysEx Librarian window; these files will be added to the SysEx Librarian 'playlist.'

7) In the SysEx Librarian window, select the file "_Minitaur_Erase_FW_Cmd.syx" and press the Play button at the top left.
- You should see the Glide switch turn off, the MIDI light flash, and the VCO1 switch LED will blink several times while the system file is erased.
- When the erasing is complete, the Glide switch will blink again.

8) Now in the SysEx Librarian window, select the file "Minitaur_firmware_v2_1_1.syx" and press the Play button at the top left.
-The VCO2 waveform switch LED will blink as the unit receives the new data.

When the process is complete your Minitaur will reboot with updated functionality.
