Sujet Problème rewire avec Live 8 et Cubase 5

Hello,

Avant je tournais avec Live 7 en rewire sous Cubase 5. Tout était ok, la vie était belle.

Maintenant, j'ai Live 8 et quand je tente de le lancer en rewire, j'ai le message suivant:

"live a détecté une autre application rewire maître. aucune application rewire esclave ne sera accessible à live tant que la premiere application rewire maître restera ouverte. Refermez cette application maître et redémarrez live."

Je remarque également que sur cubase, dans l'onglet "périphériques", je n'ai plus l'option "Live reWire".

versions des softs pour info: Live 8.2.1, Cubase 5.5.1(32 bit), windows seven (64bit).

Si quelqu'un a une idée quand à la solution de ce problème, merci de m'en faire part!

Bon, j'ai envoyé un mail au support d'ableton et ils m'ont dit de faire une manip qui a résolu le problème.

La vie est belle à nouveau!

Pour ceux qui recontrent le même problème, voici les instructions que l'on m'a donné:

according to the phenomenon you describe, it is most likely caused by an outdated specific ReWire registry key on Windows' system level (pointing to an "Ableton Live Engine.dll") that still refers to Live 7 instead of Live 8. You can repair this by deleting the outdated key and let Live 8 properly re-create it.
(Attention: manual registry tweaking can be critical and should only be done with a good amount of knowledge and experience. It's strongly recommended to create a backup of the registry before!)

- Close Live.
- Open the Windows registry by typing “regedit” in the run field of Windows' start menu and pressing enter.
- Open the registry search mask by pressing [ctrl+f].
- Type “Ableton Live Engine” into the search field and press enter.
- The related registry entry is now shown in the upper right of the registry. The name is “Device Path” followed by a full path to a Live 7's Ableton Live Engine.dll.
- Make sure that you're indeed at the right place by checking that the registry path shown in the bottom left corner ends with “Propellerhead Software/ReWire/Ableton Live Engine”.
- Delete the complete key by selecting “Device Path” and pressing [del].
- Close the registry.
- Re-start Live 8 stand-alone once. It will now create a proper new registry entry.

Then close Live again and check if rewiring to Cubase now works correctly. Please let me know if that helped or if you still experience the problem.
