Ce post a été créé par le site suite à une astuce que j'avais mise en "rubrique astuce karma" et ...qui a été supprimée depuis.....étrange....! bref...ce qui suit est très intéressant;

mon intro puis le paragraphe officiel de transfert de licence par karma lab....

ne vous faites pas avoir par des vendeurs peu scrupuleux qui veulent vous "refourguer" un soft karma lab pour pas cher (20 € pour un ici dans les annonces) en vous disant qu'ils s'occupent du transfert de la licence Karma et que vous n'aurez rien à faire...

une honte au regard du fait que le soft a déjà été acheté par le premier et que le second doive re débourser pour s'en servir (limite légal en matière de jouissance de licence informatique.....)

Can I sell my copy of KARMA Software and transfer the license to someone else?

The policy regarding transfer of ownership of KARMA Software (updated 08-Mar-2016) is as follows:

1) There is a charge of $59.95 to transfer ownership of a KARMA Motif license, and $39.95 US to transfer ownership of all other software licenses. This covers the work involved on our side to change records, provide authorization codes, tech support in the future to the new owner, future updates, etc.

2) Software that was used to qualify for a discount when purchasing a different version of software MAY NOT be transferred. In other words, if you owned a copy of KARMA MW (for example) and use it to qualify for a previous owner discount when ordering KARMA M3 software, you may not transfer the KARMA MW license to someone else.

3) A software license cannot be transferred more than once. If the license was already transferred to you, you cannot transfer it to someone else.

4) The previous owner must send an e-mail to support@karma-lab.com stating that they have sold the software and no longer intend to use it. They must then delete the software from any computers in their posession, and will then no longer be eligible for free updates, upgrades, or authorization codes.

5) Once the license has been transferred, the previous owner cannot use it to qualify for a "Previous Owner Discount" on some other KARMA software.

6) To take advantage of this offer, the new owner needs the customer registration number of the software, which the previous owner should be able to supply you with (note: it is NOT the challenge/response code.) It is a number that looks like "KMW-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX" or "KTR-XXXXX-XXXXX-XXXXX". If this number is not available, we can generally look it up provided the original owner contacts us according to step 4.

7) Once you have the number, the license transfer option can be ordered online at the Karma-Lab Store:

Purchase the License Transfer Option - for KARMA Motif
Purchase the License Transfer Option - for all other software

8) On that page, you enter the Customer Registration Number from step 5, and complete the rest of the order. (If you do not have the customer registration number, we can retrieve it for you from the system provided the previous owner contacts us as mentioned in step 4.)

9) Then, you will receive a download link to the full installer of the latest version, for all supported platforms, and you can choose which installer to download.

vous remarquerez aussi que la licence ne peut être transférée plus d'une fois....
ce qui reviendrait à dire que: si notre vendeur X lambda (lambada) a déjà racheté un transfert de licence, et qu'il s'en débarrasserait avec le synthé (admettons au hasard) pour 20 € et c'est alléchant, alors ce soft deviendrait inutilisable chez karma lab...tendancieux non?
