A few days ago I e-mailed Edirol (sales@edirol.com) to ask them if they are developing drivers to use the UA1000 under Mac...
First is my e-mail and below the answer:

I'm thinking in buying a new computer, and I'd like to ask you if it will be possible in the future to find drivers for using UA1000 with Mac?
Hi there,
We have been working for a long time to make the UA-1000 work with the Mac. Currently, the setback is that we need Apple to refine Mac OS's USB stack to improve isochronous implementation. We expect it not in their next release, but within the next few releases, maybe as early as the new year. I hope this is helpful.
