Zuonics (http://www.zuonics.com) announces its first iteration of
ZoeOS, a new graphical editing environment for both Ultra and Classic
E4 samplers. Aiming to be the definitive editor for the E4 platform,
it currently boasts an advanced feature set that includes:
Auto-detection of remote devices
Local caching of remote data for immediate data refreshes and
advanced informational capabilities
Device desktop that can simultaneously contain multiple preset and
voice editors as well as floating palettes for multi-mode, master,
and for both the preset and sample contexts
Advanced selection and filtering functions for the preset and sample
contexts
Excellent housekeeping functions
Superior drag and drop functionality
Tight SMDI integration
Local preset packages
Special parameter functions
And much more functionality planned for the short term
A Classic or Ultra Emulator device running EOS 4.0 or above.
A Windows 2000 or XP personal computer
A 1024x768 display (1280x1024 recommended).
A fast CPU (750Mhz or greater recommended).
128 MB free RAM
A bi-directional midi connection. As the quality of SysEx implementations in existing midi interfaces varies,
an up-to-date or reliable midi interface is desirable.
Java Virtual Machine 1.5 SE or greater (free software and a link provided in download section)
A SCSI connection to your Emulator. While this is not an absolute requirement,
it is highly recommended as this greatly enhances the power of ZoeOS.
SCSI also requires ASPI 4.7 from Adaptec.
NOTE: Working knowledge in the following areas is assumed and required on the part of the user. Zuonics has limited resources to support customers at length in these areas.
Midi connection procedures
SCSI and SMDI connection procedures
Using an E4 from the front panel.
Y en a d'autres des éditeurs pour nos sampeurs , comme Unisyn 2.X (Motu) ou SoundDiver (Emagic) mais reste à savoir si ils sont compatible avec Vista ?
