Citation : Toontrack Music News - Major innovation in Superior 1.5 by Toontrack Music

In the second half of September Toontrack Music will release a software update for the Superior sampler, version 1.5, that will mark a major innovation not only for the Superior line but in the long run for all Toontrack products and possibly all sample products dealing with percussive sounds.

This update will greatly diminish the system requirements for the Superior products (dfh-Superior and Superior Custom and Vintage), simplifying the handling in a very radical way. At this point we want to alert all current users and prospective buyers to the upcoming update so that they can benefit from the update as soon as it is released. Stand by for detailed release information.

Citation : On Thursday the 15th of September Toontrack Music will be releasing their update to the SUPERIOR software powering dfh-Superior and Superior Custom and Vintage.

The update, Superior 1.5, features Toontrack Percussive Compression, a revolutionary on-the-fly compression/decompression technology that helps to keep the sampler memory footprint low at no cost to playback quality.

Also available in the new update is 16 Bit playback, a feature that will minimize demand on resources even further, up to a factor 5 in combination with TPC. Elle se télécharge où l'update ? Je suis un utilisateur enregistré sur DFHS Custom & Vintage mais seule la version 1.44 est dispo ??? Ai-je raté quelque chose ?

Sur la page des updates il est indiqué : "owners of other products in the SUPERIOR line should use the software update available from the dfh Superior page". Seulement je n'ai que la version Custom & Vintage... Je n'ai donc pas accès à cette page... Faut-il nécessairement avoir la version Superior "tout court" pour bénéficier de l'update ??? Help !!!

Elle est pas encore dispo la 1.5 :lol: elle le sera d'ici quelques heures d'apres le forum de toontrack ou tout y est indiqué ;)

c'est absolument enorme je fais jouer la demo sonor of metal ave le kit sonor avec tous les micros ambiances et overhead et j'arrive seulement à 276mb :oo:

C clair que c'est un bel exploit. Je l'ai essayé hier sior et l'économie de mémoire est bluffante ....
A quand la possibilité d'avoir 3 kick et 2 snare comme Mike Portnoy ? :bravo:
